I’m coming up your way this summer; I’m determined to find the beach off 1A before you get to Kittery,IIRC. All I remember is pulling off to the side of the road and walking down several wooden stairs to the *best* tidal pools, I’ve ever seen! We found the best beach glass and sand dollars.

Do you know of the place I mean? It was truly amazing.

Beach off Route 1A? In NH, I presume? Rye Beach is nice, and of course there's Hampton/Seabrook Beach.

But if you don't feel like hunting them down, just as you cross into NH is Route 236 going between Route 1 and 1A and there's a place on the north side of 236 called Brown's Lobster Pound.

You would be well advised to get a bug there. Oh my.
