To clarify my position, I really think Sarah Palin has a chance if she picks a viable running mate and I don't have that figured out yet.
I just tool a call from the RNC and told the lady several times no when she asked me for a contribution. I told her that I send my money to conservative candidates and would not send money to them to share with the RINOs. It got me all worked up. She kept saying that she felt the same way but kept asking me to send money. I stayed nice but firm. No, No, No!
I can tell its a phone bank when I answer because there is a delay between my answering and someone coming on and once they do come on I just remain silent and leave them hanging until they disconnect. It disrupts their routine and delays them without acknowledging I’m on the phone. The calls have slowed down...
They put me on their do not call list after the last time they called and got a piece of my mind instead of a donation.
I donate to individual candidates, never to the RNC anymore. Are they nuts? RINOs suck!

I have a buddy that asks the telemarketer to hold on for a minute and then he takes the phone with him to the toilet and takes a leak. A minute or two later he picks up the phone and asks if they are still there. Amazingly enough, a couple have waited so he ends up telling them that he is a diabetic and needs to eat and then he lays down the phone and leaves for a while. That part has always worked.
Remember, this is the guy who couldn't beat John McLame in the last Republican primary!
Mark Davis (local DFW talk show host) had a pre-recorded teaser playing today which said, "Mitt Romney has officially declared his candidacy for 2012, and I can't find anyone who's interested!"
Mitt's campaign is dead on arrival, but he's too arrogant to realize it. Like you said, RomneyCare is a deal-breaker for most center-right voters. He will not be able to overcome that singular transgression against our timeless American values.
