Photo at link...I know Kate is 1/2 Michelle Obama's age, but it's funny to see how the fashion morons keep telling me that the First Lady is so "stylish" when I look at a weird blue Zsa-Zsa Gabor dress, but see Kate in a simple dress completely upstage her...
Sarah Palin will do the same, and she's the same age.

When I look at that photo even I can see what’s happening there in a fashion sense, I almost feel sorry for our hapless “First lady”, if she were a nice woman, or loved America, she would be worthy of pity.

I don't know what's more appalling, that they dress Michelle as a clown, or that she doesn't know it...

They’re only perpetuating a fallacy to the archives of history. This will all be seen for the joke it is once the blinding, sycophantic spell fritters away.

Once in a while she looks very nice. She can’t help she looks and walks like a wookie. I’m sorry, but she does. If the lib media would stop rubbing her in my face as a “fashionista” (please - I’m not that stupid) I wouldn’t feel so mean toward her.
She’s not a nice person, she’s classic nouveau riche. The notion that money makes class. It’s a classic attitude of those who resent the rich because they have money. They don’t get that money will never make them anything but gauche.
I will absolutely guarantee that the day Michelle leaves “public life” she will never put a cheap dress on her back again.

Actually that was only $200.00 for her dress and $1800.00 for the full body shave and lip wax.

The floral Barbara Tfank dress she wore to meet Middleton this week cost at least $2,000.Especially if the dress was custom made for Michelle. I think the 2 grand is if she bought off-the-rack. And I doubt she can.

I personally don’t believe she pays a dime for any of those awful clothes and jewelry. She is an advertisement for them. That is why the designers are always mentioned.
To: wac3rd
I do not believe Kate will give in to the high priced designers who simply want to get into the royal bank account. Kate and William have strong appeal to the commoners of their generation..They will continue to relate to them and especially, Kate, will relate to them..She is their princess.

Two good points about the dress.
She’s gotten away from drapery material.
It has sleeves, for a change.

Comparing Kate Middleton to moochelle the wookie beast is like comparing a T-Bone Steak with a steaming rancid dog turd... one that has been tracked in and smeared into you fine $10,000 carpet.

Not one to normally comment of “fashion” threads, but it amazes me that the first wookie can look stylish, fashionable and lady like but seemingly by design or sheer folly she dresses like a retard half the time.

Kate is wearing a relatively inexpensive dress, and she looks stunning in it. Michelle, on the other hand, should stick to black dresses. She'll look slimmer.
Anyone who's shopped for dresses knows that you don't have to pay thousands of dollars for a dress. The important thing is to find a cut and color that is flattering.
The U.S. media doesn't want to criticize Michelle for looking bad and spending too much money.
