Thanks to IOwnTheWorld for catching this. Gov. Palin was on "Justice with Judge Jeanine" on FOX (I haven't heard of this show) Sara "Sounds" different and Presidential as hell! Some voice coaching perhaps?
Hey Palin Haters...she's getting ready.....
I can’t stand Obama’s whistling
*******************************************
Agreed!
Sarah Is Dedicated
(((pingaling)))
But I called a wise old conservative friend of mine ( Yes a Jewish Conservative ) to tell him I think she is running, and he got to see this interview. I said to him, did you notice, her tone of voice was different. His response was yes he noticed it.
We are not crazy here folks, it was apparent.
I am beginning to think FR is not just Show Prep for talk radio but for POTUS Runs as well :-)....
You’re right on the money. She is now speaking using her diaphragm. She is not speaking so excitedly which causes more air flow and that nasally speech. Although, I think some of that nasally sound is just a regional voice pattern.
..and that's the only part that should matter. It just goes to show how trivial the rest of the country is when voting for a president.
That "southern baptist preacher" thing is the main thing Obama learned from 20 years of watching Reverend Wright. To have a conservative candidate come out of that tradition is a great contrast, and will peel off enough black supporters to make a difference.
If you look at Cain's TV appearances and debate appearances, he is much more reserved, and much less strident sounding than Palin.
Moreover, Cain's being black removes a major arrow from the Democrat quiver -- the race card. Cain takes that away from them.
Also, although it is unfair, Palin will never be able to overcome the "stupid" label that has been painted on her in the media since 2008. I know she is really one very smart lady, but battling an ingrained perception among so many voters will take a lot of hard work, and in the end, I think there are many she won't convince, no matter what she does to show how smart she is.
But Cain's background makes it impossible for the Democrats to tar him with the brush of stupidity.
Cain/Palin mmm mmm mmmOr, even BETTER:
Palin/Cain!
Yes, agree, I noticed the same thing whenever I would comment on her voice, and the need for coaching. Now,I'm pleasantly surprised that we've had a pretty good, insult free discussion for the 24 replies that are posted as I write this.
“Has She Had Some Voice Training?”
We won’t know until she gets in front of some folks and see if she got rid of that ear-piercing shrilly screechy voice.
That sounds just as good. I would be thrilled if at the next GOP debate, Cain, Palin, and Bachman all share the stage with the also-rans/FOX favs. What a debate that will be.
This is wonderful.
GO, SARAH, GO!!
I have always been extremely impressed with her willingness to work twice as hard as anybody else in areas where she may lack natural ability.
She sounds better. I was just writing yesterday that I thought her public speaking skills needed some work.
Good for her.
I just realized that she has also attended to a little something that used to bother me. She used to do some of those head moves that I also do when I’m with friends. They certainly made her look very approachable but not Presidential. Those are gone.
Bookmarked...
You have a valid point. Campaign Stumping in a 30 MPH wind with thousands screaming and applauding is more like a rock concert and is a learned ability. I believe she is being voice coached....now if we can just get some concert grade sound systems instead of those feeble PA's they use at most Tea Party events.....
I love Sarah, but she still sounds like the sheriff in Fargo.
