Palin has a controversial past???
To: Signalman
Unlike Palin and Newt, Pawlenty has an uncontroversial past (as far as I know) Trust me, that will last all of 5 seconds once he declares. GOP backgrounds are subject to attack journalism. libs get the bye.

I just want to know if Pawlenty will keep voters awake enough to go to the polls!

Meh
Maybe pre 1960 politics but the ugly truth is you can’t just have good ideas but you have to be a dynamic figure who can sell them and attract people into the fold. T-Paw has nothing exciting about him.

Herman Cain will give him the biggest challenge.

Fred Thompson was a better Conservative, and less boring too. He didn’t get far.

Too bad. We’ve seen (with McCain) what happens when a RINO runs against Obama.

he won't have any problems getting the Independent voters BS. They'll vote for Zero because they'll believe George Bush is still President.

he won't have any problems getting the Independent voters and as we all know, without them, we can't win. I'm an independent voter, and I won't vote for this McCain Republican.

BS!
When leftist sites comments say something good about a Republican, I tend to believe they’re trying to pick our candidate like they did McLame.
No pawlenty!

Enough of this nonsense. I'll repost the same response I had to the BS last night:
No thank you. No more squishy moderates. If we lose, so be it, at least the country will understand it is a dem/liberal/communist/marxist running the country into the ground.
I will no longer hold my nose and vote against one opponent just to win.
If the country needs to be ruined due to Obama, so be it. The sooner the majority of Americans realize why this country is headed in the wrong direction, the better. Putting in moderates only insures that we continue heading in the wrong direction.
In any case, there are so many parasites in this country at this time that the only true fix will be a second American Revolution, and it will be a vicious, bloody affair that will either end up with this countries citizens enslaved or once again FREE.
I'm putting my foot down. I took an oath when I joined the Army, and I am ready to live up to that oath, even if it means forgoing my comfortable life, and possibly my life as well.
Hopefully it will not come to that, but we are headed towards that direction, or outright slaves to the federal government, IMO, and I will not tolerate the latter.

I won't vote for him. There are two chances that the Republican Party will nominate someone that I will vote for. Slim and none. The one's that I will vite for so far are:1. Sarah Palin 2. Allen West. 3. Herman Cain . Bachman
Who I believe that the Republican Party will nominate: Mitt Rommy
What do I believe that the result of this will be? A second term for obama.

Not likely. Pawlenty is going to fade away rather quickly, I think.

If I have to explain WHY? to you .. you’re probably a democrat yourself..

If so, he’ll have to assuage the Tea Party and pick a Veep more to their liking, than he is currently to their liking as a potential Pres. candidate.
Palin, Bachmann, Cain come to mind. Which would inevitably make Pawlenty look like John McCain #2, with all the anticipated pain that wouild imply. There is NO WAY at this
point anyway, that Pawlenty has Tea Party excitement behind his candidacy, and without that I doubt he can win the Presidency.

One more time: Pawlenty balloned the deficit, passed a kind cap and taxed that will cost up to 11,000 jobs plus drive up energy cost.Passed a smoking ban that drove 100’s of bars to shut down. Spent billions on ethanol and trains, land grabs, seat belt laws, collected baby dna and stored it, was in the tank with big education. more later.
