I do.
I’m Spartacus.
Interesting take...but now the Corsi book is out and there is just so much water that's gone over the dam....I think Zero is more wounded by all of this than not.
You mean a conservative that doesn’t like Sarah should not be on this forum? Are you serious?
Is this Free Republic, or Sarahland?
I tried like hell to keep my fingers off the keyboard and let you guys work yourselves into a Jonestown frenzy. I know there is no disagreeing with you, but if you think the crap you are going to get thrown at you on FR is tough, wait until she announces.
You will be walking around next June wondering what the hell happened to your Queen!
I am not debating her worship’s right to run. And I am not debating that she has strong support around here.
But you guys really need to dilute the kool aid a little bit and perhaps listen to some of the opposing viewpoints. Because it is only going to get worse for you if she announces. And you need to come up with more intelligent responses than, “If you don’t like her, go away”, or “if you don’t like her you are a troll”, or “if you dont like her you must not be conservative enough for us.” To those of us who have been around for a long time, those are just silly responses.
How about: I just don’t like her. I don’t trust her. I don’t like the way she runs her family. I don’t like the way she left her job. I don’t think she has the experience to be President.
And yes, I know she was gov for two years and that is more than Obama had, blah blah blah. Where did THAT get us. Can’t we do better? And NO, I do not have the answer. That is what this process is about.
Open your minds. Develop some good talking points. Embrace those who are on the fence and explain; don’t yell at me. Don’t call me a troll. Otherwise Tina Fey will put you out of business before next May all by herself.
Go Sarah!
/agree
I do!
Palin/Cain
...in the White House. ;0)
I want her to run. I pray that she runs.
Me.
This answer really doesn’t wash with me sorry. She swore an oath to do her duty and backed out. Excuses are excuses, even the good ones. We do not need excuses from the chief executive of the country.
I agree. I don't know whom I will support, because I don't know who the candidates will be. And with a late primary in my state, I know many of the starters will be out before I get to vote, which is a raging pain. My usual procedure is to donate some money to a presidential candidate, but do my work on the ground for state or county candidates.
I do.
Palin/Rubio would make a great ticket.
Arlington is full of men and women who made that decision. I guess it would have been OK for them to run away and not do their duty because it was going to cost them a lot.
Its called playing the hand you are dealt. No one forced her to be Governor. She knew the rules. If she were so strong, she could have dealt with it head on.
So, instead of staying on, running the state, and dealing with the issues head on, she bails out. She writes a couple of books, she goes on TV, she gets $40k per night to hear her talk and she enriches herself.
I am not saying I wouldn't have done the same thing. But then again, I am not running for anything, And, in the end, neither will she. She digs the limelight too much. It is easier to make money than it is to make policy.
That's not at all what I meant. I didn't even read the rest of your rant.
I questioned the conclusion that someone would vote for 0bama over Sarah simply because Sarah quit as Governor of Alaska.
I have no sympathy WHATSOEVER for that argument, for the reasons I stated.
Whatever other points you made in your rant have been ignored since you started out with such an ignorant and incorrect premise. Even on this thread I have left open the possibility that people DON'T want Sarah to run. Try to think things through a little bit next time before knee-jerking a reaction, OK?
The barracuda is stronger than the media.
LOL.....a Voice of Reason. Welcome to the discussion; after all it is good exercise for your keyboard fingers. And your points are well taken.
Good argument and I can agree with you.
However you said that she lost and incurred damage. In my opinion some of that damage was losing many votes in a possible presedential election.
I understand your position but this decision, however right she thought it was at the time, has consequences. It can’t have possibly have been the only course of action for her.
Thanks, but I’m hardly embarrassed for having supported Trump. I’ve been a supporter of Palin since even before McCain nominated her; that hasn’t waivered. Nothing wrong however IMHO with multi-tasking on issues, and on candidates.
Some of us here are supporters of RKBA. Some are pro-national defense. Some pro life. Some deluded, brainwashed people are actually in favor of “free trade”.
One-issue voters abound in both parties.
There is however, one hugh issue which nobody, in either party has the political cojones to dare mention:
China. Not China as a country, or a culture. China as the nation demolishing America’s once-mighty industrial base, and very rapidly developing the capability to challenge America head-on globally.
It’s the new third rail. Trump dared to speak the truth.
Have to wonder, if China won this round.
Which of her duties did she neglect, and how did it hurt Alaska?
Not that I expect an honest answer from a weasel.
In that case please excuse my question. :)
Mind if I ask another?
Can’t she do both?...
