It was about three weeks ago that Jerome Corsi, author of "Where's the Birth Certificate? The Case That Barack Obama Is Not Eligible to Be President," called me with some disturbing news.
In response to the success of his book (No. 1 at Amazon in pre-release stage) and the elevation of the eligibility issue because of Donald Trump's big megaphone, his sources in Hawaii were telling him that Barack Obama was about to release a fraudulent birth certificate.
Corsi urged that WND report the story. But because of the nature of the warnings, I didn't think it would be meaningful. What good would it do to report that unnamed sources investigating Obama's eligibility expected him to do something he had resisted doing for two-and-a-half years? Details were thin. Who would pay attention?
In retrospect, it probably was not the right call.
But I was not surprised when the White House delivered the document that Hawaii officials had previously stated unequivocally was not available to anyone, even Barack Obama himself.
Since the release of what I consider to be, at best, an inauthenticatable image of a document, Corsi has returned to Hawaii for more on-the-ground, first-hand investigation – and the results are startling.
Far from putting the critical issue of constitutional eligibility behind him, Obama has opened a Pandora's box of questions and controversies that no single document may ever be able to address definitively.

I can't comment on the technical side, because I don't have any relevant expertise in computer document forensics. I have worked as an analyst, and in general, misdirection that's done correctly is very difficult to detect. Misdirection that's detectable easily is a lure. (The best misdirection appears hard to detect, but is still likely to be discovered. This plays to you opponent's ego, without arousing his suspicion he's being played.)
Rather than flatter ourselves by assuming that Obama's men are stupid and incompetent, I'd be more inclined to be wary. Obvious bait should be treated as such.
Or do you remain uninterested, just like those who had no interest in why several Cuban refugees would burglarize the offices of a highly placed Democrat?
The interesting comparison is the lack of a Deep Throat to give context to the Birth Certificate. Especially when there are Democrats who would materially benefit from leaking this information to Republicans. Or Republicans that would benefit from finding it themselves.
Not only has no one come forward, but no one has 'caught' Obama doing anything wrong. There's no G. Gordon Liddy in custody, apprehended while doing O's dirty work. No smoking gun. There's no evidence at all that any crime happened. Just empty suspicions.
So, check this out. I have an app on my phone. Looks like piano keys. Makes cat noises. Any time I want to mess with my dog, I play some cat noises, and the dog comes running. Alert. Looking for the cat. He heard a cat noise. Must be a cat in here somewhere, right? He'll search high and low, because he knows in his heart that a cat must be in this room somewhere.
It's fun. Entertains guests, entertains me, and the dog is none the wiser that we're just playing with him.

Do you think that the "game" that Obama is running involves releasing forged documents?
Creating an Hawaiian birth certificate for "Bugs Bunny" might be entertaining and probably would not be a crime because there is no intent to have the document accepted as genuine.
What you seem to be characterizing as "misdirection" strikes many of us a felony. Do you agree that Obama would be guilty of a crime if this document is a forgery?
For interpersonal relationships, sure. I'd agree there.
Professionally, against opponents, no. Especially not in the higher leagues.
That chart should help to convince folks that there is a difference! But, It won’t. Minds are blocked in place now!
Please understand your remark all cases have been thrown out is incorrect. I do not believe I am aware of any case where the facts have been considered. It is the persons bringing the action that have been rejected along with their suit.
I've said all along that while this is fun and interesting to jab the Baraqqis with, it's never going to affect his being POTUS.
Baraq is giving us all the issues to beat him with in 2012. $5 gas, 10% unemployment, recurring $1.5 trillion deficits, plunging home prices, and surging cost of living.
If we can't accomplish that, we deserve him.
Around here (Indiana) I'm seeing more and more of the bumper stickers with Baraq's picture and the phrase "and we thought Carter sucked"

I love bumper stickers...but today I still see so many Obama/Biden ones that I can not decide...are they too lazy to remove them or are they still in a trance?????
At the very least, the country needs to understand why the framers made a distinction in the requirements for federal office, between a "citizen" and a "natural born Citizen." Not understanding these things, is how "we've" "allowed" the Constitution to be constantly trampled upon and precisely how the country wound up with someone like Barry as the Commander in Chief.
Barry, the multi-national with divided allegiance, must not be allowed to set and "open" precedent to allow this to happen again...an increasing proposition in this day and age of globalism, open borders, anti-Americanism, etc.

You clearly state my reasons for allowing myself to be called a “birther”. The issue is bigger than one man.
The possibility of this happening again is NOT acceptable.

I would prefer he not be able to run again due to this issue being resolved, and not in his favor. This is the only way to get him out and not cause a National Revolt.

Soooo.....the conspiracy theory would be that the White House approved the dummied up pdf file with the layers, including a barely perceptible seal image (it can be seen when blown up) and the Okubo signature stamp with the “TXE” error.
Then HI DOH prints off two hardcopies and applies an HI seal over the faint seal on the pdf to add realism for the reporters and these are given to the Perkins Coie attorney for her charade round-trip from DC to HI and back.
Meanwhile, the forged pdf is already on the White House server ready to go, no raised seal required.
If the document is false, it would clearly be a felony.
If the document is not false, it would not be a felony.
Absent any hard evidence to the contrary, the BC will be accepted as valid.
If hard evidence is acquired, getting the country to believe it won't be a sure thing. That cure may be worse than the disease. Either way, if there was a smoking gun, we'd have seen it by now. I'd be open to seeing new evidence, but Obama's had so long to clean up this loose end, finding something really incriminating is about as likely as finding Jimmy Hoffa.
