I believe what Osama bin Laden little daughter said she saw was probably correct - we assassinated OBL. I don't have a problem with that- he's dead, good riddance.
However, I believe that the W.H. does have a problem about it, in that there are grave concerns about how it would play out in the international world and to the leftist. That's why Leon Panetta said that Seal Team 6 ultimately made the decision to kill OBL not the President, to wash the President of any culpability if news ever got out.

Notice it was also convenient that there was supposedly a 25 minute blackout of live video or gap once the Seal Team was going through the compound, so the people in the Situation Room don't have a clue what went on and didn't see what happen.....if they didn't see anything then they are just ignorant of the true facts if anything ever came out that was negative, it's not their fault on what happen.
Although its strange since Hillary said she was sitting in the Situation Room looking at something for 35 minutes...we don't know what exactly she was looking at though /s
That is just the most frightening situation I have ever seen about a President. It is more scary than AlQuiada.
We have a President who is not in charge. Ponder that for awhile.

The story in the OP actually harmonizes with what we see in the famous picture of the team watching in the situation room. 0bama is in a corner looking like anything but the boss. Every intelligent person in DC must know by now that 0 is completely incompetent at anything except lying, scamming, and conning his way into office.

As long as he’s really dead, I don’t care if Dick Cheney himself walked up and shot him in the head with Dirty Harry’s Magnum. Just have him be dead.
We have an retired SEAL in our office. (In fact, he knows a lot of the members of SEAL Team Six). And, of course, the take-down of OBL has come up in conversation. He made an interesting observation on the dynamics of the situation:
The team is in potentially very hostile territory. You don't know how long you have until reaction forces Pakistani or al Qaeda) arrive and you don't know exactly how many or how heavily armed they might be if they do come.
You might be able to get the High Value Target (HVT) easily or you might be forced into an defensive posture unable to extract until the cavalry arrives, if they ever do.
It would be nice to bring the HVT out alive, if possible, but the mission only required that he be verifiably dead to be considered a success. OBL gave them a reason to make him dead (it probably didn't take much) and that's what they did.
BHO needs to grow a pair and tell the world he gave the SEALS permission to kill OBL solely on his authority as POTUS and that is all the authority they needed. In matters touching on the national security of the United States, POTUS needs no external justification or approval before acting.
And he certainly needs no approval from the Attorney General after the fact, either.

Oops. I meant that the story you linked to, claiming that the semi-adults in the White House (Panetta, Gates, Clinton, Petraeus) pulling off the OBL mission over 0bama’s objections, is consistent with the photo of them in the situation room.
Since we assassinated him, I would have preferred that we took OBL to the top of the highest building in the world and pointed a blowtorch at him and said, “You are going to die. Either you jump or we burn you to death, your choice.”
Is this not weird or what? Why is there so much concern about Bin Laden's rights to life, liberty, justice and the American way? He's dead. End of story. Is this a liberal concern? I hope so. I hope conservatives are not the ones preoccupied with Islamists rights.
The liberals worry, oh so much, that we are not granting these vermin constitutional rights. It is very expensive to provide a trial, media circus, security for a megamass murderer.
President Obama has inadvertently saved us millions and millions of dollars by giving the green light to the assassination mission.
Remember, Rudyard Kipling, regarding the British in Afghanistan, said "odds are on the cheaper man". We must find ways to dispatch the Islamists in a cost effective manner.
The other difference is that the WH and military got their story straight before yapping to the press. They had worked out an explanation for how they were able to intercept Yamamoto without admitting we had broken the Japanese military code. Nowadays, the VP blabs operational details at a public event. God help us if Biden had been VP then!
