I thought we weren’t allowed to examine it because this Rossi guy didn’t have a patent.
The last news I saw about the E-Cat was that Rossi had an offer from some prestigious American university to test his claims.
Haven’t seen anything on whether he allowed that testing or not.
Trusted? Sounds more like phantom to me. If there are 97 installations, there would have to be businesses willing to come forward with a testimonial saying the product is working. That is just basic business sense, has nothing to do with the technology.
When Rossi publishes names of companies, and reporters can go to those businesses, see the devices in operation and interview the owners as to the effectiveness of the devices, it will be believable. Until then, it is snake oil.
This Rossi guy has got to be a huckster. Why is he going to the media instead of engineers and scientists?
I have something very valuable in my pocket. For just $10,000 you can get in on the ground floor.
I can haz e-cat? Is like lol-cat?
If it sounds too good to be true...
It has a bit of a Rube Goldberg look to it...
I think your question points to the truth of the matter.
- Perhaps because he and his company are more concerned with promotion and marketing than they are science and technology.
- Perhaps because his product is smoke and mirrors and he doesn't really want anyone with a brain to have a look at it. He knows that most journalists have almost no knowledge of science and won't be able to ask a tough question even if they wanted to.
I’m going to WalMart later today, I’ll let everyone know if I see any. Would they be in Automotive, Housewares or with the tools?
I will volunteer to test a unit at my home, and provide a full unbiased report in six months time. If it is what you say it is, I will buy it.
It does bode well. He has untis out apparently for long term use to test them in a very quiet manner.
This guy is not an internet charlatan but appears to be someone who is interested to make this technology, whatever it is, work.
I would keep an eye on him and his company. He is not the usual “run your car with water” kind of entrepreneur.
“A commercially viable cold fusion technology which is going into full production later this year.”
Still plenty of time to invest!
“I would keep an eye on him and his company.”
Hopefully so will the FBI and SEC.
It was MIT. Rossi said, “Buy one and you can test it all you want” so somesuch. Didn’t see a “buy here” link on his site, though...
My 88 year old uncle has been chasing these kinds of energy generators his whole life. The next miraculous thing(made of hardware store plumbing parts and aluminum foil) is always just about to emerge in the next few months and change the world.
We’ll see.
