BUFFALO, New York-- Talk about a role-reversal: Two New York jail guards are in trouble after an inmate stepped in to break up their fight over food.
Erie County Undersheriff Mark Wipperman says both corrections officers are suspended with pay after what he calls an "embarrassment."

"Now I want both of you to take a week's taxpayer paid vacation to consider the error of your ways. And no, this won't count against your vacation time." Good grief, the inmates are running the asylum.
Without exception, every single job had one absolute rule. Strike ANYONE - and you are fired. Do not pass 'go', do not collect $200. Pack your bags - you are FIRED. It's just that simple.
I know this man (Wipperman) and some of the guards
I would NOT want them in charge of any aspect of my life (Wipperman is OK- but most guards I met are supreme a$$hole deluxe)
Behind every lousy worker; there is Union; I’ll betcha!
“Suspended with Pay”?
Sounds like a vacation. Must be one of those union things.
A bag of chips?
These guys are in a union. They makes enough in 1 hour to pay for multiple CASES of chips. And they’re fighting over one bag?
