President Rubio.
The more I think about it, the more sense it makes.
I would like to see a WEST-RUBIO or a CAIN-RUBIO ticket.
Nope. No VP Rubio. Only President Rubio seems to make sense.
West and Rubio cannot be a ticket because both are from the same state.
Marco Rubio hedges on Fla. immigration bill
'nuff said.
If he was Gov. Rubio, rather than Sen. Rubio, I’d be all for it. He isn’t, and I suspect this is exactly why he has been unequivocal in his denials, thus far. He’s not running, and I genuinely don’t think he’d accept a #2 slot, at least not in 2012.
And the one MOST like Ronald Reagan is...Marco Rubio.
Yes, Rubio is a rapidly rising star, but he may not be ready to run for President yet. He is probably setting up for 2016. I would bet though that whoever we nominate will ask him to be their VP running mate. Whether he entertains such offers would probably depend on how strong he thinks the top of the ticket is.
To the person that suggested West/Rubio - probably wouldn’t ever happen as they are both from the same state (Florida). And you have the names reversed, if such a ticket emerged it would be much more likely to be Rubio/West.
I like the guy and am proud to have voted for him. However he does not have the experience.
Same with West and Cain.
My vote is a resounding NO.
Rubio is pro-illegals. End of story.
No on Rubio, Open border for starters, Mel Martinez replay.
So far, he has not been willing to discuss this issue.
One usurper per century is more than enough.
Maybe in 8 or 12 years.
Rubio was born in South Florida. Doesn't make a bit of difference if his parents were citizens at the time. If it did, then even I wouldn't qualify on that count since my father was a Canadian citizen until I was about five (I was born in USA). So you are wrong on TWO counts there.
Can we please stop trying to nominate every flash in the pan we see? I’m all for Rubio, and many others who are in their first political job being stars, but PRESIDENT isn’t a rookie job. Look at Obama if you don’t believe that.
Rubio is young enough that a stint as senator and then governor will make him a formidable presidential candidate.
Or after 8 or 12 ballots of a deadlocked convention. I don't see Rubio running in the primaries but if there is a deadlocked convention.....
Were his parents born here?
Rubio was born in florida, the big question is about his parents. They were cuban exiles but Rubio has not said if they became US citizens.
Too bad. Our nation's founders made it so to prevent people people with possible split allegiance from becoming President.
