I would like to see a WEST-RUBIO or a CAIN-RUBIO ticket.

Rubio says Arizona immigration law raises profiling concerns

Marco Rubio hedges on Fla. immigration bill

'nuff said.

If he was Gov. Rubio, rather than Sen. Rubio, I’d be all for it. He isn’t, and I suspect this is exactly why he has been unequivocal in his denials, thus far. He’s not running, and I genuinely don’t think he’d accept a #2 slot, at least not in 2012.

Yes, Rubio is a rapidly rising star, but he may not be ready to run for President yet. He is probably setting up for 2016. I would bet though that whoever we nominate will ask him to be their VP running mate. Whether he entertains such offers would probably depend on how strong he thinks the top of the ticket is.

To the person that suggested West/Rubio - probably wouldn’t ever happen as they are both from the same state (Florida). And you have the names reversed, if such a ticket emerged it would be much more likely to be Rubio/West.

I like the guy and am proud to have voted for him. However he does not have the experience.

Same with West and Cain.

My vote is a resounding NO.

Rubio is pro-illegals. End of story.

Rubio would need to prove that he is a Natural Born Citizen, born in the USA to two parents who were citizens at the time of birth.

So far, he has not been willing to discuss this issue.

One usurper per century is more than enough.

Can we please stop trying to nominate every flash in the pan we see? I’m all for Rubio, and many others who are in their first political job being stars, but PRESIDENT isn’t a rookie job. Look at Obama if you don’t believe that.

Rubio is young enough that a stint as senator and then governor will make him a formidable presidential candidate.

It makes no sense at all. The guy is not a natural born citizen. As far as I know both his parents were born in Cuba and were not naturalized at the time of his birth. He is soft on Immigration and has refused to join the Tea Party caucus. Lets move on. If you want to nominate a newbie pick somebody good like Allen West.

It seems like waaay too many FReepers are sporting wood over that idiot Trump. Therefore, you probably won’t get many takers.

Like McCain? You'll love Rubio!

Want your kids to die in Libya? For who-knows-what?

Vote for Rubio.

He's a creep.

I thought it would be clear by now that sitting US Senators are nothing but trouble when it comes to producing viable candidates. From now on I want a sitting Governor who has served more than one term and actually produced some real-world budgetary results.

Like Mitch Daniels for example...

Marko Rubio hasn’t got enough experience legislating on a National level yet, any more than Hussein did when he ran. I want to see what he can do in the Senate before I would even consider him for another office.

It would be a very serious mistake to run another populist Senator for the Presidency, even one from the Right....

Cain/West would destroy the opposition of any other combination in the primaries. Obambi would have a snowball's chance in hell.

I don't think it would even be close. Tea Party on steroids; and finally two candidates that would put a sock in the NAACP, Black Panthers, Nation of Islam, Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, and Chuck Range, while offering a new and needed voice to the black Americans as well as conservatism itself.

Rubio has no chance on the immigration issue. Period.
