What happened to Jeloudov is a part of life in the armed forces that hardly anyone talks about: male-on-male sexual assault. In the staunchly traditional military culture, its an ugly secret, kept hidden by layers of personal shame and official denial. Last year nearly 50,000 male veterans screened positive for military sexual trauma at the Department of Veterans Affairs, up from just over 30,000 in 2003. For the victims, the experience is a special kind of hella soldier cant just quit his job to get away from his abusers. But now, as the Pentagon has begun to acknowledge the rampant problem of sexual violence for both genders, men are coming forward in unprecedented numbers, telling their stories and hoping that speaking up will help them, and others, put their lives back together. We dont like to think that our men can be victims, says Kathleen Chard, chief of the posttraumatic-stress unit at the Cincinnati VA. We dont want to think that it could happen to us. If a man standing in front of me who is my size, my skill level, who has been rapedwhat does that mean about me? I can be raped, too.

But we were all professionals and worked within the system to remove this scum. Reports back from Leavenworth were that he did not adjust well there. He was no longer the big-fish. But he did adapt nicely to becoming someones bitch.
Only if you believe it. This is from Newsweek.
I served 4 years active duty and never even heard of a single incident of queer rape.
Things on the ground, in combat situations, are rather fluid.
A type of battlefield justice, if you will.
Hope this helps.
Newsweak is a formerly good brand name reduced to anti-USA leftist propaganda tool. With magazine circulation so poor, the entire enterprise recently sold for less than one issue’s newstand cover price: $1.00
Anyway, my comments were upon the typically glaring inaccuracies and ommisions of Newsweak’s story. Also adding my personal observations upon the data manufacturing process misused within my branch of the Armed Forces as the DADT repeal justification.
The article subject matter concerns pole smokers and carpet munchers committing rape, which is a UCMJ violation; not jihadis.
Your diagnosis: remove head from an anal cavity? Heal thyself; armchair general.
Maybe liberal newsweek is trying to scare straight men from joining the military...
Most assured We do agree.T’anks
The military goes detroit...
Yes, you can get PTSD at 100% but it has to be genuine or you must be an excellent actor. From what friends who work at the VA told me the more typical rating is 30% which translates into several hundred dollars a month for life. Not bad for the shock of having to listen to off color jokes and/or language during your deployment. Of course, better actors & actresses will do better financially.
Newsweak is reporting 50,000 because now that DADT has been repealed, they can say, when 49,999 victims are reported later, that things are better now.
Also, I don’t get how hetero men can be aroused enough to commit male rape.
If we ever get past this intentional veil of secrecy, what is happening to the military will be shocking beyond description.
You don’t have to be aroused to be gang raped or raped by one with a gun or power to hold against you if you don’t cooperate. You don’t need to be aroused to commit oral sex on another man under duress.
If people understood the dynamic of male on female rape, they would understand what is going on for males in our new homo sex culture. They are not asking for it. They don’t want it. It is imposed on them.
I’m talking about the so-called hetero rapist being aroused enough to penetrate another man.
How can someone be heterosexual and raping males? That is the stupidest slogan out the Left for a very long time. LOL
If someone of the same sex engages with someone of the same sex they can only be bi-sexual or homosexual. : )
It IS a real problem, and many of the mend are too ashamed to come forward and get help. And of course, the perps don’t get prosecuted and thrown out then.
When I was in you would have had a corresponding number of dead homos
Same here. But these days they have “date rape” drugs. Shortly before I retired, there were cases of guys getting drugged and violated. Sometimes, all they knew was that something happened. They weren’t even sure who was responsible
50,000?
I’m stunned!
