It was a terrific game. I had “no dog in that fight” but perhaps a slight preference for ND. BUT I was absolutely delighted for the A&M coach who, at 65, after 30 years coaching women’s basketball, won a national championship.
The UConn men’s coach whose team won last night was also an older guy, but this wasn’t his first championship, and he is enshrouded in controversy (that almost goes with men’s basketball).
