When you talk about Unions, Big labor, they are called Commies, Demos etc. But regardless of what the union leader affiliates themselves with, we are talking about American's! People live here, grow here, and thrive here. And if it is a union that Keeps American Labor moving then so be it! I read something, that the poor business owners cannot stay competitive."What"! They moved out because they wanted to widen there pockets and not pay good American what they are worth.I see the argument about the people that unions back politically but look what happens when you vote for the others it is total change of America!
You should’ve put this in breaking news, in ALL CAPS!
George Meany made it clear that there was a conflict of interest if taxpaying union members in the private sector have to pay for the benefits of tax-receiving union members in the public sector.
The union folks decided to cast their lot with Bill Clinton, and rolled over and panted on cue, as he got NAFTA passed. They were AWOL when Clinton granted the Red Chinese MFN status. These same palookas go to the wall when conservatives make necessary adjustments to GOVERNMENT employee rules that benefit the private union members. The unions picked their side. This is not the George Meany AFL-CIO. Government employees now control more than half of the union membership, and government is the only growth portion, as it is a harder host to kill. The unions made a premeditated decision to cast their lot with the government unions and the democrats. In 1992, they threw out the anti-commie provisions. The union leadership does the bidding of Hary Reid and Nancy Pelosi as they formally promote a social left agenda on feminism etc. that is opposed to the values most blue collar union members hold. The big union leadership no longer stands for the interests of the American working man, which is why so many WANT to work in non-union plants in the south.
“They moved out because they wanted to widen there pockets and not pay good American what they are worth.”
That’s a bunch of crap.
Most merit shops I know, pay WAY ABOVE union scale. The fact is, that companies left because of overburdensome BS and red tape from the local governments, usually forced onto them by the unions.
Further, people don’t mind paying for quality, and that is how unions killed themselves. They degenerate quality to the point of making something so bad, that no one wants it anymore.
Folks will shell out big money for import cars because of quality. They vote with their wallet. No one wants a clunker GM. Remember, don’t buy an American car made on a Monday, Wednesday or Friday.... because the union slobs are too lazy and make a crap product.
I’m in the trades, and the same can be said. Here in Illinois, we are run by unions, every trade. We are regularly sub’d out by union shops to work on boilers or electrical systems, because the gub’min union guys can’t do it.
I have had A card IBEW electricians stand over my shoulder on a job and ask me how to read a particular schematic. I kid you not. I have had union plumbers not know how to replace a king valve properly on a high pressure boiler, but they had to be there, because they were union, and to replace one requires a union to sign off on the change out for city work.
I used to be a printer, many moons ago, and we printed victoria secret catalog and Sears. The pressroom guys made a decent living, but everytime the Christmas season would come along, and those catelogs had to go out, they would walk off the job for a few hours, and demand more crap.
Guess what? The company didn’t want to move, they HAD to, because their clients had deadlines and Victorias Secret and Sears didn’t care to hear about a strike, they just said “go non union or we are finding another vendor”.
I know explaining this to you will do no good, because you are trolling.
My non-union employees make more, work more, and are way more productive than any union screw I know in Cook County, Chicago, and probably the whole state of Illinois. They are better educated (which we willingly pay for) and know that they are part of our extended family, they are not the enemy. If they were union guys, we would have an us vs. them attitude, and I’m not going to even bother with something like that anymore. Been there, done that. If forced to go union, and I may be at some point, I will just close up and retire, then there will be another batch of guys sitting around the union hall waiting for the buzzer to ring so they can work for 8 hours that day...
Do you have any idea what this troll is trying to say? I do wish they were more articulate.
¿Que?
“...and not pay good American what they are worth.” Therein lies the rub, a job will never pay what “you” are worth, it will only pay what the job pays.
Based on his spelling, punctuation, and prose, the OP is obviously on his Mom’s computer.
No proofreading will correct no basic knowledge of grammar.
I am a mean capitalist industrialist.
At night I go into my basement and kill puppies and kittens.
I laugh at riots and tsunamis.
This is because after working hard all my life, and being responsible for thousands of people, I’ve decided I hate America.
I love giving jobs to Indonesians and Chinese rather than Americans for no other reason than I need a 40 bedroom mansion rather than a 30 bedroom one.(sorry Al Gore).
It’s the money, not the control. If I wanted to control people, I’d work in the government.
/sarc off.
And these people think they are rational. The sad thing is, these people control the media and educational system.
Been to Detroit lately?

Well, maybe there’s hope. He does sound sort of juvenile.
Maybe when he’s twenty he’ll start to get some brains.
Damn! missed it by 40 minutes!
