Klein won by only 55-45 in ‘08, and 51-47 in ‘06. It’s a *lot* harder to go from 38 to 51 than it is to go from 45 to 54.
I know you are correct. It will be much more difficult for Karen Harrington to go up against Debbie W. Schultz. The district is very strong Democrat, and the only way for Karen to have a chance is for all the registered Republicans and Independents to give their support to Karen. Even then, we hope many Democrats will realize the path Schultz is taking them is wrong, which they would get to see and hear for themselves if Schultz is somehow forced into having at least one debate with Karen Harrington.
Her district is mostly comprised of the gay community, Jewish community, blue hairs and Union members. It’s long past time for Debbie to have her district redrawn to exclude Miami Beach which is nowhere close to the rest of her district in the opposite county.
She will have to stress this factor... contacts in Israel tell me that they are quite alarmed at American Jews' casual attitude towards the present dangers to Israel.
The Primary field is just beginning to form, and there will be a few Republican candidates to get to know and learn about. Hopefully the voters in District 20 will vet the candidates well and then give all their support to the best Conservative running.

This rainy weather has me double posting. Or me operator trouble more likely. Sorry.

the absentee ballots down there are brought in by mass volumes. Nursing home incompetents, waiting room condos, and the multiple county provisional voters are firmly in place.
Like Chuck Schumer - and others in D.C. [e.g. (lately): Rahm Immanuel]... they have come to be only interested in their own power and access to wealth. It is time to paint these people for what they really are.
FReeper FRiends:
Karen Harrington came to Sarasota this evening and she wowed the crowd at a local GOP Club. She is a lovely articulate smart business woman who is a true conservative!
After the meeting, I spoke with her, told her about FR and how we got behind Col. Allen West in 2010. I told her I would make the effort to rally Freepers to her Campaign. She was most appreciative to learn about FR and I will send her the link to this thread.
I believe together...we can help Karen FIRE DEBBIE!
Will you join me in supporting and promoting Karen Harrington?
Here’s her website: http://www.karenforcongress.com/
Please sign up for her emails....Thanks, Julie
She and Joe Kaufman are contending for the Republican nod against Hussein’s poodle.
Joe Kaufman had a booth at the Orlando gathering of Republicans...I did not see Karen.
I have seen Karen at one of our Tea Parties in Fort Lauderdale, though I haven’t heard her speak....and I did send her some money a month or so ago.
I’ll be VERY happy to see Hussein’s poodle thrown out of office.
I missed her at the CPAC & P-5 but she was there:
Excerpt:
Karen made the rounds throughout the event that was held at the Orange County Convention Center, and Karen was warmly received by countless numbers of well wishers including RNC Co-Chairman Sharon Day, Lt. Governor Jennifer Carroll, and RNC Chairman Reince Priebus.
Karen addressed several groups during the event including the Florida Federation of Republican Women and the Tampa Bay Tea Party Patriots, giving those who attended her vision for Congress as well as insight into her campaign to defeat Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, and Karen also participated in lively Q&A sessions at each of these engagements. Karen was also a featured guest on radio talk shows that were broadcasting live from the conference, including the Ed Dean Show and the Marc Bernier Show, and the campaign`s fundraising efforts yielded very positive results.
More news on Karen Harrington.....She’s gotten a very important Jewish endorsement:
