My family and I would like to express our sincere condolences to the family of Geraldine Ferraro. When I had the honor of working alongside Geraldine on election night last year, we both discussed the role of women in politics and our excited expectation that someday that final glass ceiling would be shattered by the election of a woman president. She was an amazing woman who dedicated her life to public service as a teacher, prosecutor, Congresswoman, and Vice Presidential candidate. She broke one huge barrier and then went on to break many more. The world will miss her. May she rest in peace and may her example of hard work and dedication to America continue to inspire all women
You should be ASHAMED for speaking the truth.
Ask Juan Williams.
The one thing that really ‘struck’ me during the Ferraro-Palin appearance: how absolutely gracious and respectful Sarah was to Ferraro, even when you knew Sarah totally disagreed with her. Sarah was a class act.
Buzz off douche. Can’t you morons ever give it a break?
I'm sorry. I know its sad to think of the emotions a family goes through when they lose a loved one. But, I can't share Sarah's feelings on this.
Geraldine Ferraro broke some barriers, OK. But, she would gladly have brought about more rejection of the constitution I love and believe in. She would not miss me and I will not miss her.
Just the same, my best wishes go to those who loved her.
I just watched it here:

and you are right. You could see that Sarah would have loved to refudiate most of what Geraldine was saying, but out of respect for her, she bit her lip and heaped nothing but praise on her.
Perfectly stated.

Again, perfectly stated.
She was more or less black listed by the liberals after the 2008 election. Why? Because she spoke the truth and defended Palin against untruthful attacks.
I never agreed with her politics but she sure had my respect. RIP
I didn’t know she had passed. Didn’t agree with a thing she said politically, but RIP, Geraldine Ferraro.
I think this was the night that Geraldine said that Sarah was the only woman who had ever thanked her for "breaking the glass ceiling." I think she was impressed with Sarah.
Haters like that can’t even help themselves. This thread was about the passing of Geraldine Ferraro but the PDS’ers just can’t help themselves..Such bitter people. I hope they never have to experience the loss of a loved one. Palin was very gracious and showed class, I am glad that person isn’t a Palin supporter because Palin is about CLASS
her interview on this subject today on foxnews

She really was a wonderful example for young women. I didn't agree with her politics, but I admired her fight.
Surely, Sarah Palin has to know this deep down in her moral fiber. Of course she cannot say this outright either and I certainly do not fault her for not saying it. Our World no longer cares about virtue or moral justice. It's just sad that so much is being left unsaid and more importantly, cannot me said from all sides.
She was a FLAMING FEMINIST with a CROOK HUSBAND.
Otherwise, may she RIP.
I met Geraldine twice during her first run for Congress. She was classy, professional, and funny. She was something you rarely see today, a Democrat AND a Patriot.
Sarah is one classy Lady
