My family and I would like to express our sincere condolences to the family of Geraldine Ferraro. When I had the honor of working alongside Geraldine on election night last year, we both discussed the role of women in politics and our excited expectation that someday that final glass ceiling would be shattered by the election of a woman president. She was an amazing woman who dedicated her life to public service as a teacher, prosecutor, Congresswoman, and Vice Presidential candidate. She broke one huge barrier and then went on to break many more. The world will miss her. May she rest in peace and may her example of hard work and dedication to America continue to inspire all women

Say what you want, this sounds classier than anything Obama’s said recently.

Wow how sad! When did she pass? She was a very classy lady and also a big critic of Obozo. Prayers for her family.

Say what you want, this sounds classier than anything Obamas said recently. Sarah sounds classier than Obama when she's just shooting the breeze, let alone, making a public statement. Obama is a good reader, but he's a complete flop when he speaks off the cuff.
Dittos on what Sarah said about Geraldine Ferraro. She really was a class act.

I remember seeing them together on Fox and they didn’t agree on much but they were both friendly to each other, which I attributed to Sarah’s kind and gracious words to Ferraro when they were introduced. Ferraro seemed surprised and taken aback that Palin was saying such nice things about her but she smiled and the rest of the interview was very pleasant.

Representative Ferraro was dangerous because she was a likable rat.

I thought Sarah was above this crap...and I am saying this as a woman.
Surprises never cease.

While she was a committed Liberal, she was not a Democrat robot. She really believed in her cause, but was fair. Not a phony bone in her body. While I disagree with everything she stood for, she was honest about her positions and her own person. “Classy”, I agree. May she rest in peace.

Last time I saw her on fox she didn’t look good. Very puffy like she was taking steroids. I sure didn’t agree with her politics but, God bless her and her family.

Is there any American more classy than Sarah Palin? Maybe Dennis Prager.

This shows how biased you are against Palin. Palin did respect Geraldine. I'm positive that her words were heart felt and sincere. You don't know the first thing about Sarah. She spoke from her Christian heart.

And it would appear that you may have just won first prize for what I consider a very inappropriate comment, given the subject matter of the article.

I saw Palin and her on Fox together last year. Geraldine was partisan to the bitter end. And Palin was way too nice to her.

Please fix this guy. So horrible to say such things on a Memorial Board.
