Say what you want, this sounds classier than anything Obama’s said recently.

Wow how sad! When did she pass? She was a very classy lady and also a big critic of Obozo. Prayers for her family.

I remember seeing them together on Fox and they didn’t agree on much but they were both friendly to each other, which I attributed to Sarah’s kind and gracious words to Ferraro when they were introduced. Ferraro seemed surprised and taken aback that Palin was saying such nice things about her but she smiled and the rest of the interview was very pleasant.

I thought Sarah was above this crap...and I am saying this as a woman.
Surprises never cease.

While she was a committed Liberal, she was not a Democrat robot. She really believed in her cause, but was fair. Not a phony bone in her body. While I disagree with everything she stood for, she was honest about her positions and her own person. “Classy”, I agree. May she rest in peace.

I saw Palin and her on Fox together last year. Geraldine was partisan to the bitter end. And Palin was way too nice to her.

She was more or less black listed by the liberals after the 2008 election. Why? Because she spoke the truth and defended Palin against untruthful attacks.
I never agreed with her politics but she sure had my respect. RIP

When I had the honor of working alongside Geraldine on election night last year, we both discussed the role of women in politics ...I think this was the night that Geraldine said that Sarah was the only woman who had ever thanked her for "breaking the glass ceiling." I think she was impressed with Sarah.

I agree. Actually, I was stunned when I heard she passed, I don't know why, but for some reason I expected her to go on and on forever.
She really was a wonderful example for young women. I didn't agree with her politics, but I admired her fight.

All the good intentions or hard work to advance women in American Politics in the WORLD can't undo the impact that Ferraro had on promoting and furthering Abortion.
Surely, Sarah Palin has to know this deep down in her moral fiber. Of course she cannot say this outright either and I certainly do not fault her for not saying it. Our World no longer cares about virtue or moral justice. It's just sad that so much is being left unsaid and more importantly, cannot me said from all sides.
