5. Tootsie Uhh, no. I'd sooner watch the edited-for-television version of Smokey & the Bandit.

Yep.
Any list that doesn't have Animal House or Caddyshack on it, isn't worth warm spit.

I hated "Planes, Trains & Automobiles" and I've always liked movies with Steve Martin and John Candy.

The fact Blazing Saddles isnt on here makes this list crap. The MSM has an obvious reason for eschewing this Mel Brooks masterpiece. The hidden rulers want to rub the serfs' noses in their own impotence, by sending them an "affirmative action" sheriff ...

Happy Gilmour with just the Bob Barker fight scene alone is much better than all of Tootsie.

I thought this was every bit as funny as the Airplane! movies. Still Val Kilmer's best role.

You’re right! Arsenic & Old Lace is a classic.

I suspect that there are probably at least a hundred comedies that are as good as these are, if you just go back a little further.

It's really old, but "Bringing Up Baby" with Cary Grant and Katherine Hepburn is hysterical.

Refering to Blazing Saddles:
They probably all watched the politically correct version, with the n***** word removed.
The first 10 minutes of the film doesn’t make a drop of sense then. So they have no idea why that film would even be a candidate.

A Night at the Opera, especially the stateroom scene and the three avaitors: “We first attempt to fly to America and got halfway across and ran out of gas and had to go back. Next, we fly almost all the way to America and, wouldn’t you know it, we ran out of gas again and had to back. So we come by steamship.” Marx Brothers never gets old.
