It's long been the stuff of science fiction fantasy but time travel could be a real possibility say scientists.
Furthermore, they believe the 17-mile-long Large Hadron Collider (LHC) based underground near Geneva holds the key.
The theory is that the world’s biggest atom smasher might be able to unleash the Higgs singlet - a particle that could appear before the collision that produced it.
The mind-boggling theory is that it will have entered from another dimension.
There are a few obstacles in the way, however.

If some stars we see in the sky from earth have actually burnt out millions of years ago. Then if you were at this instant the same distance from earth and able to look back with a strong telescope you would be seeing earth as it was millions of years ago.
A little closer, dinosaurs. Much closer, Jesus' day. Even closer our great-grandparents as children.
We really do live forever.
Maybe we could use this to go back to the last national election and elect someone other than nobama, the Destroyer?

So let me see if I get this straight...
A particle appears in the past before the collision? Does it get in the way of the collision and the collision never occurs?
How do we know that the HIGGS Singlet wasn’t the experiment and the rest happened in the future?
Great scheme for more NSF funding...
