But having manipulated tons of images myself (not for nefarious purposes), I know how easy it is to do it.

I’m not getting into the situation Polarik got into trying to show people how an image has been altered and why he knows so.

All I’m saying is, if you wanted me to enlarge someone’s chin or jaw or substitute a pair of eyes or some other feature, I could do it and 99.99% of the people who looked at it would never suspect it had been done.

“Dreams From My Father”, page 31, Barry has been telling of the packing and preparations for his and his mother’s journey to Indonesia to be with Lolo Soetoro:

“Finally, we boarded a Pan Am jet for our flight around the globe. I wore a long-sleeved white shirt and a gray clip-on tie...”

The photo you posted was taken at some kind of spacious facility, and Stanley Ann is decked out in a lei. I’m guessing Barry mis-remembered the length of his shirt sleeves, because here he is in white shirt and gray tie, being photographed likely by Gramps, as he and his mother are [likely] ready to board the flight to Indonesia. Just guessing.

There’s that script again. He is addicted to ice cream and supposedly worked a short time at Baskin-Robbins. The cartoon is reflected in “Dreams” when Senior got ticked at him for watching The Grinch Who Stole Christmas (IIRC) - can you get any more ironic. It would be interesting to know the date that cartoon was aired. And the pic of little Barry and Gramps on the beach.

Agreed, his dates just don’t add up. Nor does his story of growing up poor while he was constantly jetting around the world.

I’ve never thought that Stanley had any pull to get the kid into the elite school. Madelyn was guns in that partnership while Stanley was just along for the ride. I recently found this from Outrigger Hotels Founder Dr. Roy B. Kelley’s blog:

“Madelyn’s boss was the bank’s CEO, Frank Manaut, who served with me as a trustee of Punahou School. It seems likely that Madelyn’s connection with Frank played a role in Barack’s enrollment at Punahou with a scholarship.” That is a very interesting story worthy of a read. Practically every name mentioned has a Kenyan/Punahou connection. Just another thing that makes you go hmmmmm....

IMO, according to the street numbers the house would be on the other side of the street and at the other end. It would have been the second house (no longer there) from Mercer rather than Republic. Look at google street view. See the lay of the land with the rise from the street to where the house would have been. That’s similar to the current Mercer/13th corner white house that is of the same time period.

U. of Hawaii is what it certainly looks like! And in that case, my guess would be that this occasion was Stanley Ann’s August 1967 completion of university studies - if not a formal graduation ceremony, some sort of notation ceremony. IIRC, in the photo of Barry with his grandparents following his Punahou graduation, he also is wearing a lei. An Islands’ tradition for graduates?

So, then, we can figure that when Barry and his mother flew to Indonesia in Oct. 1967 he was wearing the same gray tie with the long-sleeved white shirt he remembers.

I have multiple views of that property in my file because I came to the same conclusion that you did. It is owned by the Salvation Army. The property was gifted to them by the previous owner. If you look at the old photo that was published, the one that supposedly came from the archives in the Puget Sound gov’t. office, you can see elements of this house and property in the old photo.

bgill, I’m really impressed with your singling out this property. Tell me why exactly you picked it, please. It had to be more than the lay of the land.

To me, the grand convergence of 1971 has too many coincidences to be something not organized for a specific big family purpose.

January 4, 1972 SADOS, a teacher, (re)applies for a US passport by mail from her father’s home in Hawaii to travel to her permanent residence at DJL Taman Matraman Barat, 22 Pav, Djakarta, Indonesia, stating she is returning “home” in 10 days to stay indefinitely. She amends passport to include/exclude “Barack Hussein Obama (Soebarkah)”, probably excluded because Soebarkah is remaining in Hawaii

The inconsistencies I find in my own theory are:
a) In the Soetoro/Dunham divorce they do name 2 children with one over 18 (without the name). So it would seem Barry/Soebarkah/Barak is still ‘Soetoro’ at that time in 1980. So that would seem to indicate that an adoption by the grandparents did not occur.
b) There some that claim that the name in birth records was Barry Soetoro from the original adoption in the early 1960s.

I am completely convinced that a formal adoption took place after the Dunham Soetoro marriage. Young Barry/Soebarkah/Barak was under 5 making that an almost automatic event with the marriage.

Also the enabling and covering MSM lied repeatedly about the actual marriage date as 1967 or 1968. Look it up the long Time article and others. But we know now the correct date is March 1965, when Barry/Barak/Soebarkah was less than 5. These later dates may have been floated out there by the Obama Campaign. After all, if you are willing take photos of forged documents inside your own campaign HQs you would have not issue floating false information.

No, the white house isn’t the Obama house but it is of the same era. On the 13th street side, the steps from the street to the house and the lower level garage are obvious similarities. Then there is the lay of the land with the rise from street level. The next few lots appear to belong to what looks like the backside of a large apartment building complex. The land rise continues there but today is vacant of homes.

The other side of the street doesn’t have the land rise. Plus, here’s the biggie - that side of the street shows odd numbered addresses whereas the Obama address is an even number.

Now, back to the Ann/Anne/Anna name thing. I’ve never understood how so MANY references are for Anne/Anna when her name was plain old everyday Ann. A-N-N. Plain and simple. Why would so many go to the effort of making it longer? Many times Anna is pronounced Au-nna which, imo, is a totally different name.

The FOIA document release of Stanley Ann’s pessport records tells a different story, however, in that Stanley Ann departed Jakarta Oct. 20, 1971 on Pan Am Flight 812 and arrived in Honolulu October 21, 1971. According to Barry [”Dreams”], Barack was to arrive two weeks later, which would have been appx. Nov. 4, 1971.

It also means that little Barry was traveling on his own passport. Where are those records?

And does one look in the U. S or Indonesian passport agency?

Also, in the Obama house picture - the house next door on the left has a bay window on the side. The white house has a bay window on the side. That house also has steps rising from street level.

Odd the Salvation Army white house address is 1305 Mercer when the front door faces 13th. The Park Manor directly across the street is #535 13th. Down from there is another white house (#521) and a green house from the same era but they don’t sit as high from the street. I can’t make out the address on the green house but the numbers do skip so they aren’t 521, 523, 525... Best guess is that the Obama house would have been across from the green house. That would place it in the middle of the block rather than the second house which the museum woman said.

The Indonesian government has likely been “advised” that any leak of Barack Hussein Obama Soebarkah info will result in the end of US aid to Indonesia.

The US Obama/Soetoro/Soebarkah file was scrubbed by Brennan’s handiwork. Any perhaps-living participant in that caper surely took to heart the message left in the head of Mr. Lieutenant Quarles [sp?] - the one witness who had agreed to cooperate with the investigation.

And nary another word has been heard...
