Many grocery stores have disinfectant wipes at entry points. I use them.

How disgusting. People need to take their wipes and use them before handling a cart. One of our local grocers provides them at the entrance, and I always use them.

GROSS!
I totally HATE those shopping cart handles!
To: BenLurkin
So I guess now instead of just bringing our own bags, we have to bring our own cart too?

The major grocery stores in our area have wipes freely available where you pick up your cart.
That being said, the rule at our house has always been to wash your hands as soon as you get home from the store BEFORE your put the food away.

It’s amazing I survived being a grocery store clerk at the A&P in my youth.

Ugh, I have to go to the store...and to top it off it’s one of those stores you bring your reusable bags or stick groceries in empty boxes from the shelf that can be bug infested.

well it may seem heartless to say but .....
Here in Key West the cart likely held all of sseveral homeless persons' possessions within the past 30 days
Do you think that could be an issue?
What next mandatory cart washes after each use?

Looks like I picked the wrong day to stop taking a massive dump in my shopping cart.

In all seriousness, kids should be banned from riding in the carts. I don’t care where mama puts her brood, but don’t plot their poopy behinds in my grocery cart.

It would be interesting to graph the bacteria counts at different types of stores.
Foe example Costco vs Walmart!
To: BenLurkin
People are now too lazy to wash their hands after using the toilet.
