On CNNs Reliable Sources, conservatives Jennifer Rubin and David Frum discussed the declining television ratings of Glenn Beck and the recent conservative attacks on him. Rubin said Beck was creating a bad image for the Republican party, whereas Frum, a longtime Beck critic, suggested audiences are just tired of hearing ludicrous conspiracy theories.
Rubin, seemingly speaking on behalf of Becks elite conservative critics everywhere, said:
Sure he doesnt need our approval and were not giving him our approval. But to the extent to which he wants to influence events, which is presumably why does it other than the money of course he should seek to be part of the conversation as opposed to be a circus act which is what hes become.

DISPROVE HIS FACTS THEN!
DONT JUST CALL HIM NAMES
HE HAS A PHONE OPEN FOR THE WHITE HOUSE TO CALL IF HE IS WRONG
It is amusing how much time CNNBCBSMSNBDPBSNPR spend talking about Fox News
They’re just jealous
The Empire Strikes Back!!
Just like food, presentation is extremely important. Beck’s presentation is extremely poor. Can’t stand to watch or listen to him.
Poorly presented nutritious food is still good for you. Well presented junk will still make you sick.
these are not conservatives.....but it sure tells you when CNN and the NY Times both talk about your ratings in a negative way, (when they are twice what anyone else has in the time slot) that you are hitting a nerve
Go Glenn, Go....
Just because it's called The Sean Hannity Show doesn't mean all we want to hear is Sean plug himself, his latest book, or how many important people he's spoken to.
I agree with you somewhat.
However, with people that have good listening skills, they should be able to get past that.
The reader/listener has a responsibility also. They should not have to be spoonfed.
IMO the establishment in both parties is definitley threatened by Beck. They never point what he has gotten wrong...because they can’t and if he gets something wrong he apologizes and explains...
The fact is America is waking up and waking up to the fact that if Glenn Beck can figure this out then most in Congress know this, have known this and people are realizing that the establishment doesn’t represent them and that could spell huge trouble for them in 2012.
Best example of GOP establishment failings...last time we had McCain and in 2012 we will have Romney neither of them represent conservatives nor the American way.
I’m always amazed at how easy it is to get conservatives to attack each other.
If I were the tinfoil hat wearing type, I'd say there was a movement afoot to silence Beck.
I woul say that your assessment is correct.
Hannity is a simpleton. He has a very poor understanding of the communist movement and its various front organizations, assuming he even understands or believes that it exists. He couldn’t even describe Bill Ayers and the Weather Underground as being communist. He left it at “domestic terrorists” without tying them to any broader movement.
hilarious to hear about the decline of ratings... from the competition... even while the current ratings are 5 times their own
attempting to create reality out of thin air
OTOH, Beck is good at connecting the dots and making it understandable to the average listener. I think he's brought more converts to conservatism in the last 2 years then Hannity has in the last 20.
The attacks on Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh in recent years are a result of the two of them and many others on the conservative side (Glenn is a libertarian) hitting the mark on revealing the truth. The left hits back hardest when they are being attacked with truth (99% of the time).
But remember the source. CNN....years ago was widely known as the Clinton News Network. They have their part to play in getting Obama reelected, and will gladly “recite their lines” 24/7.
And just like “food” you don’t have to “eat” it. You can turn off the TV and let the other 2M+ viewers watch Glenn.
Actually, you are overrating Sean.
