"In what alternate universe? In the real world, it's exactly the other way around."

In THIS universe Palin's negatives are too high. Spare me the "Ronald Reagan's negatives were high too" line. Palin is no Reagan. Spare me the "polls are lies created by the left" line also. If your neighbor or your brother in law or some people in your church supports Sarah Palin that's all well and good and means nothing on a national level.

In the 2008 elections there were people in my town, and the rest of the country working their ass off for Ron Paul but he still couldn't pull over 10% in any primary state. In the 2004 election there were Democrats screaming in their enthusiasm for Howard Dean but he still couldn't get the nomination. Just because a politicians supporters can make a lot of noise does not mean that that politician is adored across the board.

If Palin somehow pulls out the nomination her loss will be the most lopsided of any Republican since Kennedy/Goldwater. I seriously doubt she'll get the nomination though. Unfortunately my big concern is that the conservative vote will split too many ways in the primaries and Romney will cake walk to the nomination.

Now if you have evidence, other than online polls or straw polls (Ron Paul won lots of both of those) that Palin will win the nomination bring it on. I'd love to see it.

A substance free and rudeness infested response.

Have a good day.

Palin is a total danger to the Republic. Stupid does not begin to describe it.

Now that's funny. Seriously...you're really Sandra Bernhard, aren't you?

>Good Job ROTB.............saved me the trouble!!!!

Thank you!

The Huffington Post is probably holding tryouts, so we need to be “en guard!”

You open your freaking eyes and “get back to us.”

That was uncalled for. ROTB simply gave you a link to an article which supports the contention that Sarah Palin is the most qualified conservative we have in our stable of prospective presidential candidates. It's obvious that you didn't even take the time to read it.

He didn't try to knock you down, or dismiss you in any way. He actually was attempting to provide you with some well-reasoned analysis and facts to try to persuade you.

So far, all you've contributed on this thread are a couple of wild-eyed, unsubstantiated statements. How 'bout you post something comparable to what ROTB posted to you, to make your case?

Agree 100%. Remember the media attention to Fred Thompson ---until the day he announced. Then it was attack mode 24/7 until they convinced the people who could make a difference that he was old, tired, and didn't really want to be President. All that just because he didn't rip out and start throwing everybody from his grandma to his first wife to colleagues under the bus.

I wish Fred could have gotten the nomination. He would have made a good, if not great president.

I like Palin very much and think she is very capable. I do wish she would take some lessons in speaking before a camera. JFK and others did that. She is good off the cuff, but could be better--slow down and make a point. Get rid of a few of her sayings the msm have mocked--rather cut down on frequency.

They would jump on Bachmann like a pack of hungry wolves. I would like to see a Palin/Bachmann ticket, but the old establishment would join the msm in pulling them down. I despise the old line stiff rumped Repubs.

You make that challenge, knowing full well that NO prospective candidate has any better evidence of support, at this point.

In the final analysis, ONLY a primary will give us the answer we're looking for. Until then, what we have as tools to measure any prospective candidate's level of support, are online polls, Google hits, number of Facebook fans, book sales, number of public appearances (and attendance numbers), and the like.

Using those tools as a yardstick, Palin easily outdistances all other likely competitors.

My, aren’t we on a tear today?

I feel like I’m talking to a typical screaming liberal. You’re clearly off your nut, lady. You’re not even trying to make your case - you’re just screaming at us.

Thanks, but no thanks.
