Agree 100%. Remember the media attention to Fred Thompson ---until the day he announced. Then it was attack mode 24/7 until they convinced the people who could make a difference that he was old, tired, and didn't really want to be President. All that just because he didn't rip out and start throwing everybody from his grandma to his first wife to colleagues under the bus.

I wish Fred could have gotten the nomination. He would have made a good, if not great president.

I like Palin very much and think she is very capable. I do wish she would take some lessons in speaking before a camera. JFK and others did that. She is good off the cuff, but could be better--slow down and make a point. Get rid of a few of her sayings the msm have mocked--rather cut down on frequency.

They would jump on Bachmann like a pack of hungry wolves. I would like to see a Palin/Bachmann ticket, but the old establishment would join the msm in pulling them down. I despise the old line stiff rumped Repubs.

Well, this thread is already accomplishing what the establishment Left and Right wants. They want to see conservatives eating their own over who’s supposedly better between two Republicans who haven’t even made their intentions known about the presidency. It’s the equivalent of arguing over which rookie QB drafted will win the Super Bowl next year.
