I don’t think anyone should be contemplating violence against fellow Americans.

However, I think the time for political compromise with libs is over and should have been over ten years ago.

Politically, crush the Democrats, see them scattered before us, and hear the lamentation of their women.

And remember that Onbama’s friend Ayers said that 30 million Americans will need to be eliminated in order to establish a communist state in America. That of course was over 30 years ago, the number is more like 50 million.

So, they will fire up the re-education camps and send us all to them like good little girls and boys.

Plus don’t forget the micro-chip implants in the HC bill to be implanted within 36 months of passage.

A civil war is the only way to stop them from further destruction of our freedoms.

You say that like that would be a bad thing.

As you said, we have a government that is so corrupt that we are on the verge of a mass takeover if we even blink. I honestly don’t believe we can go back to constitutional law if we don’t rise up and do something soon.

RJ, this is the very observation that is making me so stressed out. America is coming apart at the seams, even though the birds still sing, and the morning dew still graces the grass. What peace and serenity we all experience on a daily basis (how ever little) is mostly an illusion. We Freepers know this, as well as anyone in the country.

The fact is, that powerful forces are working day and night to rip the very foundation stones of this nation apart, and are doing so at an accelerated pace.

While we law-abiding, peaceful citizens form groups and discuss those ways in which we can regain control over an out-of-touch, treasonous government, our very lives are being imperiled by powerful cabals of anti-American, anti-constitutionalist Communists, who do NOT play by the rules that we do, and who are using the power of our own federal government to destroy the very fabric that holds this country together.

No sane person can possibly watch all of this happening before their very eyes, and not react in horror and anger.

The situation poses a moral and ethical dilemma for any reasonably well-informed person. Are we applying enough pressure and force, at the right speed and volume, and at the correct targets? Have we misjudged what time we have left to correct the situation before all descends into chaos? Do we need to move our resistance up to the next level to reverse the tide of destruction?

More and more, these questions occupy my mind.

Well stated. Excellent summary of the situation facing many of us (I hope).

We have to do a little more than that. Ever wonder what happened after our little revolution. We packed thousands of Tories on boats and headed them to England of Canada. Those were the ones who weren’t killed or burned out. That is how we handled the situation then. True blue lefties will never never change and they will never give in. It sounds funny perhaps but true leftism is a mental condition. Talk to a true leftist and you will see what I mean. Just routing them and not getting rid or them somehow will never give us peace. Hey take them up on their threats to move out of the country. We just help them along. BTW true lefties aren’t Americans.

I’m of the belief that it’s too late to turn this country around by “legal” means. Our system has been far too corrupted and gamed to let those who believe in freedom ever regain power by using the typical levers of power. Even if we could, I don’t think we could enact the kinds of drastic fiscal measures needed to stop the train before it careens off the cliff. I don’t know how this is going to shake out exactly, but I know it ain’t going to be pretty.

We don't have much longer for the system to work, because those who've hijacked the system have our Republic on the ropes as is. The Pubbies had better damn well hold the line between now and 2012, or those elections will be nothing but an exercise in futility. Calire Wolfe's alarm clock is almost wound down, for sure.

Start focusing on states’ rights and the 10th and what is happening with them, it’ll cheer you up.

I will admit that a lot of what's recently been coming out of the state houses across the country gives me hope. I just wonder if it's not too little, too late.

These leftists are literally tearing down the pillars of our constitutional infrastructure, while we're debating ounces on bills which I consider to be baby steps to restoring the republic.

My point is, we need RADICAL legislation and the implementation of some hard-core laws at this point. Not parliamentary shenanigans and weak defensive measures, or meeting the Dems halfway. Screw kicking the can down the road. We're already at the dead end. Time to kick some ass.

Naturally, it's up to the states to do this. The fedgov is lost.

I don’t think there’s going to be violence. That’s not American tradition.

No, not an American tradition but, do you call those that deny the country - Americans? They are Progressives before they are Americans and it is their custom to be violent. The evidence is everywhere.

5 years of pain and suffering minimum is fait accompli at this point, no matter who is vitalized.

Thru the grace of God, Americans will help each other and by divine providence alone, America will rebuild herself.

But if that doesn't happen, well then there's only fear and hunger. As Yoda says, "Fear is the path to the dark side. Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering."

Don't be fooled, be prepared. For your own good.

There has to be a split. The left will never leave us alone. We all know that, it’s just hard to say where
the divide must begin.

Just make sure you can protect yourself at home...

I've got that part covered, but I'm nowhere near ready for an urban combat situation.

This must be how folks in third world countries feel, when they see war coming.

And you won’t get any argument from me, either. As long as there are no consequences for the actions of the crooks that are destroying us, why should they stop what they are doing? I’ve been saying for sometime that it will HAVE to come to civil war,the only question is, when?

“A people unwilling to use extreme violent force to perserve or obtain their liberty deserves the tyrants that rule them.” SP 2005’ish

Damn good quote, SP. That's straight patriot talk.

You're also right, that the youth of today will one day look back and judge us. We are truly at a fork in the road in our history. I think millions of Americans sensed this after the 2008 election, and that sense was the birth of the Tea Party.

We cannot let those future generations of Americans down. The future of their entire existence lies with us, and what we do now.

But there is this: regardless of what you think on Obama’s eligibility, that is one issue that has been ridiculed by the leftwing media, the rightwing media, the political pundits, all the powers of Soros, almost every politician you can mention, the courts, paid internet trolls, etc......

and the people are still able to see through the crap in ever-increasing numbers. People are seeing that the media are liars, law enforcement non-existent, the courts a sad joke, and our political leaders gutless.

Big Brother is holding up 2 fingers, telling us to say there are 3, and more and more people are reaching the point where they can once again see straight to see two fingers. Big Brother is NOT shutting us down, not defeating us.

What I believe needs to happen, at the state level if not the federal level, is for us to demand laws that specifically give citizens standing to sue when that law is violated. The fox must not be allowed to monitor its own self while it supposedly guards the henhouse. Lawmakers, media, and law enforcement are all in bed with each other, and if we can get access for the people to uphold the rule of law if the cronies won’t, then there will be a healthy RESPECT for the people and the rule of law.

I think there’s been a lot of creeping lawlessness but now that the fox is springing for our throats a lot more people are awake. Ready to fight.

Pray for our leaders, like Scott Walker, who are under intense pressure. Better to light a single candle than curse the darkness, and one of these leaders - or one of us - will ultimately be the David whose rock and sling bring the giant of these lawless thugs to its knees.

I dread labor, but I love birth. False labor is the worst - uncomfortable but not enough to be productive. I think you’re right that we’re moving on to the real thing. It could get really painful, but that’s how birth always happens. Normally, anyway. We’re awake now, we’re in pain, we’re going to work until we give birth to a free country once again. Scary, but exciting too. =)

"I've got that part covered, but I'm nowhere near ready for an urban combat situation."

Got any friends or family in the country you could develop an emergency plan with? In Texas, you're probably better off than anyone else outside the Intermountain West. I just wouldn't want to be in a Texas city of any size WTSHTF. Even here in Boise, I'm worried about what will eventually happen when my neighbors get so hungry they turn into Mutant Zombie Bikers (read Lights Out, if you haven't already), so I'm formulating plans to un-ass the AO before that happens.
