RJ, this is the very observation that is making me so stressed out. America is coming apart at the seams, even though the birds still sing, and the morning dew still graces the grass. What peace and serenity we all experience on a daily basis (how ever little) is mostly an illusion. We Freepers know this, as well as anyone in the country.
The fact is, that powerful forces are working day and night to rip the very foundation stones of this nation apart, and are doing so at an accelerated pace.
While we law-abiding, peaceful citizens form groups and discuss those ways in which we can regain control over an out-of-touch, treasonous government, our very lives are being imperiled by powerful cabals of anti-American, anti-constitutionalist Communists, who do NOT play by the rules that we do, and who are using the power of our own federal government to destroy the very fabric that holds this country together.
No sane person can possibly watch all of this happening before their very eyes, and not react in horror and anger.
The situation poses a moral and ethical dilemma for any reasonably well-informed person. Are we applying enough pressure and force, at the right speed and volume, and at the correct targets? Have we misjudged what time we have left to correct the situation before all descends into chaos? Do we need to move our resistance up to the next level to reverse the tide of destruction?
More and more, these questions occupy my mind.
Well stated. Excellent summary of the situation facing many of us (I hope).
There has to be a split. The left will never leave us alone. We all know that, it’s just hard to say where
the divide must begin.
You’re right Windflier, but we have not yet exhausted all other measures yet. But I do fear that it won’t take much more to raise the level of anger in our country. But I think when it overloads it won’t be coming from Patriots as us Freepers..it’ll come when the welfare recepiants no longer get their handouts....and the Democrates will use them to their advantage in every way.
I’ve found in the past week I simply have had to turn the TV off and cut down on news stories...even turned off Fox and radio. First time ever in my life to do so...but the only way I’ve found to regain balance with the emotional level within over the happenings we’re seeing today.
