What Is Your Favorite Snack Food?
Self | March 3, 2011 | PJ-Comix

Okay, you have the munchies. So WHAT is your favorite snack food? I have several favorites, some of which are a bit exotic. Here are my favorite snack foods:

Hard salami---I had some tonight. Slices in a pack.

Ritz crackers.

Vegemite---I might be the ONLY American who likes that stuff but I love it. Problem is I had a West Coast source which I don't have since I moved back to Florida.

Kabanosi---Eastern European sausage unknown to most Americans. I prefer it dried. Very garlicky and goes great with beer.

Something I cant stop eating as a snack is KimChee.

It’s addictive.

Slim Jims used to be a great snack but it was ruined when they added soy meal and some chemicals.

My Father liked liverwurst and onion sandwiches. He was the only one in our family of 7 who would even touch them.

Your Father is a man with very good taste.

Put the liverwurst and onions on rye or pumpernickel with horseradish mustard and Muenster cheese and you have bliss. The summer version of this is Beefsteak tomatoes with green onion, bacon, cheese and Miracle Whip on the freshest squishiest white bread you can find.

I put 4 saltines on a plate, douse with either tabasco or tapatio hot sauce, and cut an american cheese slice into fourths. Each piece fits perfect on the cracker. Microwave for 20 seconds and consume. That and pretzel rods.

I love! Schickhaus Liverwurst - hard to find in New England - Mostly in the NY selling market.

Boars Head doesn’t make their own products, for the most part - they market others under their brand name umbrella.

Boars Head is like high-end private label products with loads of marketing.

These are more addicting than meth-coated crack.

Mullet can be uncommonly good if fresh and cooked properly.

Ever had real tuna filleted, battered, and pan fried? Talk about something out of this world.

The first time a buddy asked me if I wanted some, I thought he was kidding. The only tuna I knew, came out of a can. One bite, and I was in heaven.

He had more than he could cook up for himself, so he gave me a ton of it. My family enjoyed it for weeks. Some of the best fish I've ever eaten.

Life Cereal. Dry is as good as in milk. In milk I like Lucky Charms. I also have a strange passion for dry oatmeal. There's a cracker Walker's makes that's just like it.

The big bakable Pretzels. And if I have a real sweet tooth I'll toast some instant waffles and put butter and sugar on them. Yep I know. Real bad news.

For a drink, carrot juice.

Well, I get it cheap here. like $2.97 a stick.
It has a ton of flavor. You can cut it wafer thin and the taste still stands up.

I cant eat it all the time due to the nitrates, but damn is it tasty!
