You got it GB. I’m certain that he will pass the test with flying colors. I trust the Lord on this. We chatted about it. Believe.
Thank you...thank means A LOT...
Hi Dolly. Yeah it seems like yesterday doesn’t it? Where does the time go. Emma is in kindergarten now. She is 6.
What a great way to come back to the thread, the picture of the baby was just great! Best wishes for the parents and that proud looking lady hold that bundle of joy!!!
;^)
Good Morning to all and thank you very much for the wonderful graphics and the “View out an odd window”.
You are welcome. Normally I don’t find anyone here until a more ‘normal’ hour of the morning. Nice to see you here.
I read about a 5-minute rule that a mother had for her children. They had to be ready for school and gather together 5 minutes before it was time to leave each day.
They would gather around Mom, and she would pray for each one by name, asking for the Lords blessing on their day. Then shed give them a kiss and off theyd run. Even neighborhood kids would be included in the prayer circle if they happened to stop by. One of the children said many years later that she learned from this experience how crucial prayer is to her day.
The writer of Psalm 102 knew the importance of prayer. This psalm is labeled, A prayer of the afflicted, when he is overwhelmed and pours out his complaint before the Lord. He cried out, Hear my prayer, O Lord . . . ; in the day that I call, answer me speedily (vv.1-2). God looks down from the height of His sanctuary; from heaven [He views] the earth (v.19).
God cares for you and wants to hear from you. Whether you follow the 5-minute rule asking for blessings on the day, or need to spend more time crying out to Him in deep distress, talk to the Lord each day. Your example may have a big impact on your family or someone close to you.
I’m up and att’em! (On my first cup) Gotta look over the menu, and make a decision here......
(Guess I’m alone here - the room is empty)
If I make a decision on breakfast - I’ll have the diningroom all to myself.
No you won’t I’z here, just puttering around.
Thank you John. I wish I had more time to spend here. I don’t think it’s going to get any easier though. Come Sept. I will be keeping Avery 4 or five days a week. I haven’t decided yet whether I will actually retire from my job or take another assignment. Hard decision, but I’m not getting any younger.
Good morning yorkie. Pray that you have a wonerful day. I have to run now, but tell everyone hello and thanks for the good wishes and prayers.
I can appreciate getting older, I’m 64 and barred from getting good jobs here because as you get older in Minnesota they discriminate against you by calling you ‘Over-qualified’ and can legally nit hire you.
Do what you must, and live a life that fits your needs not some employer. As for keeping Avery, it might keep you younger.
Since my last post - I’ve had two phone calls - the electrician will be here withing the half hour and Sears will be here in an hour to install the new dishwasher. (When it rains, it pours!)
Threw stuff together, and grabbed a bowl of cereal. See everyone later, today - and hope it’s a good one for all!
Prayers for your son, BG.
Good morning, JOHNN.
Wonderful view this morning. I’ve decided on the BELGIAN WAFFLES this morning. It will be nice to sit by the window and enjoy the waffles and the company.
Thank you for bringing breakfast again.
