Jaycee, your frame is a lovely addition to Teenie’s graphic!

Good job, Jaycee! :)
LOL! I’ve played in plenty of dirt but I guess if I had seen a frog....I may have run. Wish I could go back to those days many years ago and I would get me a frog!
Id rather be there or at the beach! Thats a lovely scene you posted, Meg.
Love that song. Not long ago I posted another little girl with the same title as today and I included that lovely song by Maurice Chevalier. (hope the spelling is correct)....such a sweet song.
Thank you for the compliment, I’ve been waiting on Teenie!
Thank you!
Little boy walked up to my sis in school, handed her a frog and then waited for her to scream.
Instead she went, “Isn’t it cute?!” and began rubbing the frog on the head and making it pull its eyes back into its head.
The boy goes, “Eeeew, you’re GROSS!” and then runs away.
Well, sis tried to give him his frog back.
She got detention for chasing a boy with a frog.
Gooood story!
I first thought maybe the frog turned into a prince....LOL!
Sis also got detention for retrieving a little garden snake and putting it in the woods.
You see, some kids and a teacher had a snake encircled in the grass.
And they were all screaming.
[Sis said the male teacher had the girliest scream of the bunch.]
Well, she marched through their circle, said “It’s just a snake”, picked it up and transported it to the treeline.
Well, she embarrassed the shrieking male teacher, so she got detention.
By the way, I checked your homepage and I’m going to sue you....LOL!
Yeah, I had a humorous page up for a very long time.
But it was old and I needed a new page.
And unfortuntely I can’t think of anything to put there.
So I have a placeholder instead.
Until I think of something.
She is lovely! :)
I've got to teach myself to do these things! (Maybe!..lol)
I remember a little incident that happened to me. I think it was either the 6th or 7th grade. I was taking an art class and the teacher provided us objects to look at and try to draw that particular object. My object was a small vase and I was drawing and trying to do good, when I accidentally knocked the vase to the ground and it broke of course.
That alone scared me but the teacher yelled at me and scolded me in front of everyone. My feelings were so hurt, plus I was scared to death. She told me that she was notifying my parents and that vase would have to be replaced or paid for. I really didn't understand what a vase like that would cost. Things were hard back then and I didn't know if it was an expensive vase or what. I was dreading going home that day.
But I had wonderful parents and when I told them my side of the story, they were very upset with the teacher. My mother called her and sorta gave her a piece of her mind for treating me like a criminal.
The moral of the story is "THAT'S WHY I'M NOT AN ARTIST TODAY! LOL! Just think, I could have been a famous artist!
You are most welcome, teenie. I was happy to do it. I did it last night and transferred it to an email page until I got ready to post it today! I’ve been waiting for you to come on and have been looking for ‘wake up graphics’.....LOL!
That little girl has gotten lots of compliments.
NICE!! :)
Get Better, SOON!
Hello! I think we all would!!! LOL!
LOL is for.... it'll never happen, but fun to dream!!
I draw now and then, once in awhile I write short stories.
Been wrestling with four different stories, all of them vying for my attention like unruly children.
Had a kid try to stab me with a pencil in fifth or sixth grade.
Instead I received the empire number 2 point in my forearm.
Well, when I asked to go to the nurse the teacher asked if it was important.
So I showed her my arm with the tip of the pencil sticking out of it.
She ended up near laying on the floor looking green, so I took that as a yes.
I still have bits of that pencil point in my arm.
We love art here at Amy’s Place and same for short stories or poetry! You must get busy and share with us sometime in the future.
Re: the pencil in your arm. Did the kid who did it get talked to or anything?
Just think, you could be suffering from lead poisoning...LOL!
Bet we all have a million stories to tell, don’t you?
