Knock on wood, I’ve not even had a sniffle this year...I’ve stayed on Claratin (genric) all year as my DR. recommended. And I had no flu shot.

this is better than most of his top tens
Dave is a flaming liberal and misses not a single night with lampooning the republicans, Sarah Palin, John Boehner and any other outstanding person among the conservatives. He demeans all things conservative.

~~Have a Wonderful Day~~
To: All
One evening a Husband, thinking he was being funny, said to his wife, "Perhaps we should start washing your clothes in 'Slim Fast'. Maybe it would take a few inches off your butt." His wife was not amused, and decided that she simply couln't let such a comment go unrewarded. The next morning the husband took a pair of underwear out of his drawer. "What the Hell is this?" he said to himself as a little 'dust' cloud appeared when he shook them out.
'April'', he hollered into the bathroom, "Why did you put Talcum Powder in my underwear?"
She replied with a snigger, "It's not talcum powder; it's 'Miracle Grow'

To: All
A guy gets home from work one night and hears a little voice. The little voice tells him, "Quit your job, sell your house, take your money, go to Vegas." The man is disturbed at what he hears and ignores the little voice. The next day, when he gets home from work, the same thing happens. The little voice tells him, "Quit your job, sell your house, take your money, go to Vegas." Again, the man ignores the little voice, though he is very troubled by the event.
Every day, day after day, the man hears the same little voice when he gets home from work, "Quit your job, sell your house, take your money, go to Vegas." Each time the man hears the little voice he becomes increasingly upset. Finally, after two weeks, he succumbs to the pressure. He does quit his job, sells his house, takes his money and heads to Vegas.
The moment the man gets off the plane in Vegas, the little voice tells him, "Go to Harrah's." So, he hops in a cab and rushes over to Harrah's.
As soon as he sets foot in the casino, the little voice tells him, "Go to the roulette table." The man does as he is told. When he gets to the roulette table, the little voice tells him, "Put all your money on 17."
Nervously, the man exchanges all his money for chips and then puts them all on 17.
The dealer wishes the man good luck and spins the roulette wheel. Around and around the ball caroms. The man anxiously watches the ball as it slowly loses speed until finally it settles into number... 21.
The little voice says, "Oops..."

YORKIE PIE
And may you have many more!
To: The Mayor
I can attest to the reality of the messages from the pulpit changing over the years.
Sin is largely absent,
hell is non existent,
the Holy Spirit is mentioned in passing,
homosexuality is accepted,
(Church is for sinners)
Divorce is rampant,
Church young couples live together,
and come in asking for a church marriage
(which they get, of course);
they think there is nothing wrong
in living together first.
A weaken preaching of the Word of God. Repentance, is seldom mentioned, A changed life, and a quiet spirit is the result of true worship Let us read the scriptures, and as it tells us. Pray, Pray, Pray, the power of Prayer is backed by God!
I'm sure you know of others, as well.

Wishing you the happiest birthday ever, Yorkie.
Sorry that I'm so late getting this posted.
I had a little trouble with it and then had several interruptions.
Hope you enjoyed your calamari lunch at PF Changs.
Have a lovely day.

I received that via email and was as surprised as everyone else that it came from David Letterman.
I enjoyed entertainers more when they stayed out of politics. It doesm’t matter how great the movie is, if Jane Fonda is in it, FORGET it.
Hope you are having a lovely Caturday, Geo.

The Daffodils
William Wordsworth
I WANDER'D lonely as a cloud That floats on high o'er vales and hills, When all at once I saw a crowd, A host of golden daffodils, Beside the lake, beneath the trees, Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.
Continuous as the stars that shine And twinkle on the Milky Way, They stretch'd in never-ending line Along the margin of a bay: Ten thousand saw I at a glance, Tossing their heads in sprightly dance.
The waves beside them danced, but they Outdid the sparkling waves in glee: A poet could not but be gay In such a jocund company! I gazed, and gazed, but little thought What wealth the show to me had brought:
For oft, when on my couch I lie In vacant or in pensive mood, They flash upon that inward eye Which is the bliss of solitude; And then my heart with pleasure fills, And dances with the daffodils.

Oh, Teenie, what a cute basket, and a sweet furry kid IN it! Thank you for the sweet greeting!
I just got back from Phoenix - it was a smooth drive all the way, and we had the best server at P F Chang’s. He brought EVERYONE a dessert (in honor of MY b.day), and then as we were getting ready to leave, he brough all of us a large “to-go-drink”! (I think we will have to go back there!
All in all, it was a great day!!
