Pictures Please!!
Ahhhh.....wonderful, Cat Man! You came through beautifully...as usual!
I'll be out and about tomorrow so will snap some pics.
Jack, this was wonderful! Thank you for your quick return! Well, I fell asleep last night and it was late when I woke up to go to bed. (Kinda like a cat...LOL)
Your talent is much appreciated, Jack.
I think that particular breed of kitteh is SUPPOSED to be bald!
LOL!
Unbelievable!
Are you sure this is not a ‘man cave’??
I wanted you to fall out of your chair laughing....LOL!
Today must be Soldier 2, 2011....
Your little graphic was darling.
Cute....BUT, poor naked kitty!
We have pecan trees here. My Aunt in Johnson City (about 20 miles from here) had a wonderful one and when they were throwing pecans all around, she would call my hubby and he loved going there and getting buckets of pecans which were out of this world.
He had a lot of fancy nut crackers (guess you could say he was a collector) and he would sit in his office and crack those pecans and loved every moment of it. He tried to get them out in halves. Some were perfect and some not. I never had to purchase pecans for recipes.
You all so lucky to live close enough together that you can lunch together! Have fun as I’m sure you will! Yorkie, get you a double order of Calamari! Wonder if Red Lobster’s Calamari would be any good?
Thats quite a nice selection for Marissa. I agree, Taco’s would not be a good choice YET! Tell her it won’t be long until she can have anything her heart desires.
Tell your nephew that we appreciate his service for our Country and will be remembering him in prayers.
A major US newspaper has called Christopher Parkening the leading guitar virtuoso of our day, combining profound musical insight with complete technical mastery of his instrument. There was a time, however, when Parkening gave up playing the guitar professionally. At the height of his career as a classical guitarist, he retired at age 30, bought a ranch in Montana, and spent his days fly-fishing. But early retirement did not bring him the satisfaction he had hoped for.
Then during a visit to California, he was invited to a church where he heard a clear presentation of the gospel. Of this he wrote: That night I lay awake, broken over my sins. . . . I had lived very selfishly and it had not made me happy. . . . It was then that I asked Jesus Christ to come into my life, to be my Lord and Savior. For the first time, I remember telling Him, Whatever You want me to do with my life, Lord, Ill do it.
One of Parkenings favorite verses is 1 Corinthians 10:31, Therefore, . . . whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. He has taken up the guitar again, but this time with the motivation to glorify God.
Each of us has been given gifts; and when we use them for Gods glory, they bring satisfaction and joy.
Therefore, . . . whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. ...
He has taken up the guitar again, but this time with the motivation to glorify God.
Each of us has been given gifts;
... and when we use them for Gods glory, they bring satisfaction and joy.”

Many people do not know what gift/gifts the were given.
Some are “real stand outs’.
There was a famous female singer with a opera voice that was quoted as saying ... (it was a burden to have a voice such as hers, she had to keep it in condition and she said people expected her to perform).
Sorry I am not recalling her name. She died and it has been several years, she lived either in South America or Australia.
Amazing her gift ‘was a burden’

I took pictures this morning. They are still in the camera. I’m hoping one or two are good. I hope DD gets some good ones.
Monday, the sun was shining and the orchards looked like they were electrified. It rained overnight and more blossoms were knocked from the trees.
Later today, I will download them to see what I have. :)
Great!!!
Ours will be gone in another day or so. Almost time for the peaches, nectarines and plums.
At AWANA, they feed the kids for $1.00. Sure can’t beat that!! Never know what they will give them ... last night was hot dogs, salad bar and punch. Marissa said she ate a hot dog.
Sometimes they have pizza, tacos, mac and cheese or hamburgers. She has always enjoyed eating with the other kids before the classes start.
I checked her again this morning; she still has stitches and/or scabs. I hope they dissolve soon.
I may let her eat lunch at the school caferteria tomorrow. They are having baked chicken, mashed potatoes, mixed veggies and mixed fruit.
Thank you for today’s scripture, Rus.
Thanks, Jack. That is purrfect.
LOL
It is amazing that they found room for a toilet and a sink. :)
