THANK you, Dave. Your post was very interesting - and informative. Most of us know so little about nuclear plants - probably only enough to be afraid to live near one. I’m glad that all the precautions were taken and there were no long-term effects.

A pet rescue organization brings adoptable puppies to PetSmart every Friday, Saturday and Sunday. That is where we found Buddy.

We went last weekend but didn’t find one that caught our eye. Hubby and I plan to go Friday morning to get there when they get there.

It is a good deal ... for $150, the puppy has had at least 2 of his 3 puppy shots, has been neutered and micro-chipped. We kind of want a female (should be smaller than a male). Marissa wants to name her Daisy. LOL

A friend of mine found her most recent sweetie at PetSmart, and it does sound like a good deal. It's also not quite so traumatic to choose a pet there than from the pound or rescue. At least I don't think it would be. There aren't quite so many, and they do get lots of attention at PetSmart.

Daisy is a cute name. That's Aqua's dog's name. :)"Did you show her your post last weekend?"

I was being smart since today is Daisy Day and Saturday, Marissa said she wants to name our new puppy Daisy. :)

I don’t know where she came up with that name.

I thought I remembered someone having a Daisy.
