We had our 3rd day of rain today!
I hope it makes the flowers grow in April...LOL!
But remember we can sing in the rain!

Hi, Jaycee! We're having plenty of rain here - under flood watch. The ground is totally saturated. It should end by Saturday.

“First Salute”

The first salute received by a freshly commissioned Second Lieutenant is always significant. It's symbolizes authority and prestige.

When I pinned on my new Air Force gold bars and stepped out to face the world, I encountered a staff sergeant.

He gave me a snappy salute and said, “Good morning, Lieutenant. Your hat is on backwards, sir.”

“How's Business?” asked the bystander.
Said the street cleaner, “Things are picking up.”

“Health Priorities”

Two patients limp into two different medical clinics with the same complaint. Both have trouble walking and appear to require a hip replacement. The first patient is examined within the hour, is x-rayed the same day and has a time booked for surgery the following week.

The second sees his family doctor after waiting a week for an appointment, then waits eighteen weeks to see a specialist, then gets an x-ray, which isn't reviewed for another month and finally has his surgery scheduled for a year from then.

Why the different treatment for the two patients?

The first is a Golden Retriever.

The second is a Senior Citizen. [OUR GOVERMENT AT WORK]

I believe we are under the same clouds! No kidding, our weather is similar as when you all have snow, we have snow, and the same with the rain!

The sun is just around the corner, I’m hoping! I know Spring will come soon!

I certainly hope so, Jaycee! I've had enough of this cold weather.

BTW, drove though amond country again today and it looked like it snowed. The ground between the trees was covered with amond blossoms. Lots of beehives placed in the orchards too.

I just heard from a friend in Calif that they are doing warnings there on the coast. My home town of Eureka and my family mostly live in Crescent City are both getting warnings. Crescent City was hit really hard when that big Alaska earthquake happened in 1964 (I think that was the year). New update coming in in just a little while. Will try to keep you all informed unless I have to get out of here.
