Who were those two guys that just won an Oscar? Two heterosexuals... a rarity in today’s Hollyweird! ;-)

I admit I'm rooting for "The King's Speech" this year (the only movie my husband and I saw this year), but I watch mostly to see/hear what these lib idiots in Hollyweird have to say, (ie if there's any politics interjected into their speeches), and to see what the women are wearing. They're all just useful idiots to me... I despise about 98% of these people in Hollywood: actors, producers, directors, crew, most of 'em. I hear ya! It will be a shame if The King's Speech doesn't get some awards. They just don't make many movies like that one anymore.

I like Steve Martin. I do not like Billy Crystal ... ever They could ask Craig Ferguson to host - he would be a RIOT !!!

>>Im a little embarrassed to admit that the only movie I saw was the animated How to Train A Dragon...review of it on my Blog here.<<
I got a big kick out of “How to Train a Dragon.” I recommend it to one and all - kids and adults.
It has a very sophisticated subtext (it reminded me of the old Jay Ward cartoons), but kids will like it end to end (IMHO).

What about the Social Network made you sick?
That and The King’s Speech are the only two I plan to make a point to watch on HBO. Now I’ve got to wonder.

I absolutely loved The Kings Speech. I did too. We're in good company: Queen Elizabeth II liked it too, and she LIVED it!

It wasn’t bad at all. I got sick because the Mark Zuckerman character was influenced by a charismatic psycho and cut his only friend out of the company. It was mainly set in a trial setting where the friend was suing for his share of the company.

I am watching NCIS on USA, so am asking for opinions. Was this year’s Academy Awards show a good advertisement for America’s world supremacy in the motion picture business?
