NEW YORK (AP) – CNN’s prime-time talk show “Parker/Spitzer” is no more with the departure of Kathleen Parker. Her partner, former New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer, will remain in the time slot in a new show called “In the Arena,” working with E.D. Hill, Will Cain and others.

Rush was saying today that Spitzer had wanted shed of Parker; thought she was the one hurting his ratings. Guess it’ll be interesting to see how he does now without her. (I’ve never listened to/seen the show, so I don’t have a dog in that hunt.)
I heard Rush say today that the show’s ratings improved dramatically when she was out sick. I’ve never seen the show so I don’t know if that’s because Spitzer is so good or she is so bad. Actually my theory is that it just confirms that CNN’s audience skews liberal. More stayed tuned in because they didn’t have to listen to a conservative.
FNC let her contract go after she made supposedly infamous “terrorist fistbump” comment about a magazine cover where Obama fistbump’s Michelle.
I think FNC made a mistake not renewing her contract.

I haven’t turned or watched CNN in months. Only when one libtard ass-clown at LA Fitness turned the channel did I put on my Ipod..
I haven’t seen CNN since I was stuck in Orlando airport, February 2009. I think it’s occasionally on one TV at the gym, but the sound is off and I don’t have my glasses on when I’m running.
Maybe Spitzer could start interviewing hookers. That would get a ratings boost and you know he wants to.
That undoubtedly influenced Spitzer.
BTW, still not going to watch the show.
E.D. Hill could do the show without a shirt on and I still wouldn’t watch CNN.
