John Thune is expected to announce his candidacy within a few weeks.Lets hope he runs being he is a threat to Obama in 2012.Assuming he runs, what do you think Chris Matthews,Ed Schultz and other MSNBC Birdbrains will say about him? For Example: Ed Schultz, these issues are hitting my Fat Button Tonight! "Dick Cheney Clone" Senator John Thune has announced his bid for the White House in 2012! Are You Kidding Me??? Senator Thune Is Just Too Friggin Incoherent And Skinny to be President!! You can also predict what MSNBC will say about Romney&Pawlenty.
I like Thune.
Are you kidding me? They will puff him up! They want to smoke out Sarah, and she refuses to be smoked.
Oh, they will find an insensitive statement or two to attribute to him, but will largely just ignore him.
Eventually, they will each take turns trying to get him to dump on Sarah. Count on it.
“John who?”
(I contributed a lot of money to help Thune defeat Little Tommy Daschle.)
Who cares? Two out of three of those “hosts” are certifiable lunatics.
They will completely ignore him. If he says or does something really stupid they will cover him but otherwise he will be ignored by the MSM.
If they mention him at all it will be to say that nobody knows anything about him and that he has no support.
Chrissy Tingles remarks are almost assuming. He will treat Thune as if he was a Male version of Palin, like he is just too unqualified to be President. Right?
So, since Thune is neither far right, nor repugnant, that leaves stupid.
They will consult Wikipedia and find that he graduated from Biola University, an evangelical Christian college in Los Angeles. He later obtained an MBA from the University of South Dakota.
They will ridicule these schools, conclude that he is stupid, and put that together the good looking part, and try to make him a latter-day Dan Quayle, or a male version of Sarah Palin.
You can see it coming a mile away.
Why do you use Free Republic to just post vanities?
Why is it important what MSNBC will say?
What’s important is: How good is Thune? How credible? How serious? How electable? How conservative?
I don’t give a rat’s a$$ what MSNBC thinks about anything.
Does anyone really give a big rat’s ass what anyone on MSNBS has to say about anyone or anything?
I didn’t think so.
Why do you use Free Republic to just post vanities?Since you asked, I went back and looked at TheTeaPartyChannel "in forum".
The first page of his posts contains 26 vanities.
WTF, over?
Have you ever stopped to consider that vanities are rather self-indulgent and that FR would be over run with vanities were every member to post vanities as often as you?
Indeed. I added another comment, with a forum page link. I’d really appreciate a reply from the poster.
I may have posted a vanity once in my many years here, I don’t remember. But if I did, I know I would answer direct questions from people who responded to my post.
But maybe that’s just me.
When I saw the Senator last night he laughed when asked if he was running. Now this was just an aside question as he entered the Senate Office Complex, but it was about as non-comittal an answer as there is.
Id really appreciate a reply from the poster. It's not just a question of posting numerous (and, like this one) pointless vanities.
It's also the irritating practice of posting a thread and then not engaging in the discussion of that thread.
Please answer onyx's question.
Thank you.
