Okay, you FR sky watchers, what is the very bright planet I see each morning as I make my way into the city of Chicago? It is in the SE sky. Just asking and yes, I've checked Uranus...

Good question. Once Betelgeuse finally goes nova, when it’s done it will probably fade as it cools to be a brown dwarf, and will no longer be visible.
I’m thinking it sort of looks like a curler, pointing to the right, with one arm up to balance the weight. Or maybe a speed skater.
