Barak is a Hebrew name. It means lightning.
Used the name Barak because it was the name in the African paper “Barak H. Obama” when he wrote his Socialism paper.
Barak may well indeed ALSO be a Hebrew name, but are you jesting to suggest nobama is Jewish?
The Hebrew spelling is clear, and provides yet another witness that this Barak is no blessing (as the spin goes).
America is being electroshocked. Ultimately B.O. will get the permazot from the very Maker of the heavens.
So is Abraham as in Abraham Lincoln but I believe he was actually born in the U.S. (Kentucky).
It is interesting that the Pope recently came out and said that Catholics should give Christian names to their children (Shaneequa will not do).
I'm not Catholic, and I think I missed part of the point. On another thread, I mentioned a boy named Ezra and how my Catholic sister-in-law thought he had "one of those crazy names". Well, Ezra is a Hebrew name. It is certainly Biblical. But it is not a New Testament name, and so I think the Pope would not consider Ezra to be a Christian name.
If the above interpretation is correct, than one might say that Barack is also not a Christian name, whether Hebrew or not.
“Barak is a Hebrew name. It means lightning.”
Actually, it’s a Kenyan name meaning “Steaming Road Apple.”
“Barak is a Hebrew name. It means lightning.”
Flaming fart in Kenyan.
