This was on the O’Reilly Factor minutes ago.
The sentiment may be appreciated, but this is not really helpful to the cause.
Not sure if those two are great Americans or great comedians.

Does anyone still doubt that the “old Republican guard” on Fox has it in for Sarah Palin just as much as the Liberals do? I think O’Really and Karl Rove should spend their time broadcasting unflattering videos about themselves. Self deprecation becomes people much better than underhanded smears of someone they don’t like. True colors are shining through.
It will be interesting to see how these low tactics work and how many people are intelligent enough to see through them. Sarah Palin isn’t my choice for a Presidential candidate, but I’ve got to admire her for her ability to make RINOs and Liberals fall down and foam at the mouth.
Come to think of it, the kind of people who would help you if your car broke down and it was in a safe area. The kind of people who would not spit and rave in your face, cos' you just happened to think different. The kind of people who would commiserate with you, if they thought you were needing a cheerful voice......

Yipes, cringe worthy. Howard Stern did an entire riff on this song this morning. Took each verse and used it and twisted it to attack Palin. This type of thing just gives the media ammunition to continue their attack her.
However, if I recall, there was a similar ditty used back when JFK ran in 1960. I am too young to say for sure, but I believe these type of songs used to be pretty widespread back in the days before TV and internet made us all so sophisticated.
I think it’s very nice.
