Tired? Depressed? Forgetting things? Who isn't these days?

Those are also symptoms of a deficiency of B12, a key nutrient needed to make red blood cells and DNA and keep the nervous system working right.....

You could be low on b12 if for some reason your body is unable to absorb it through your stomach.

That is super low D. I was taking 2000 units a day, in the summer, and my levels were surprisingly low, 24. I upped to 10,000 a day, and after a few months it was only 49. Now I am taking 15,000 a day, hoping to reach the coveted 60 on the blood test. 60 to 80 is optional for preventing illness and disease.

The sun is not so great - I get a little every day in SoCal and it doesn’t “do it” for my D levels.

I know Kroger carries it in the international aisle. I also pick up my HP Sauce there.

The doctor taught me how to do the arm by rolling the back/under part of arm and sticking there. But IF I didn’t get it the first time, I’d toss the syringe, IF I missed the second time, I just gave up for that weeks shot. Try standing with your arm/body against a door opening and press your upper arm against it and “roll” it forward and it should leave you a good injection site. I haven’t done this in over 15 years though. A good cross country move was the best thing for my allergies. My allergy doctor use to have a segment on the local tv station and I believe it was syndicated . . . so you can imagine my surprise when I saw him here in N AL noon news.

My doctor rolled his eyes and looked at me like I had two or three heads when I asked him several years ago to check my thyroid anti-bodies . . . yep sure enough and my numbers were OFF The charts. Poor ole doc . . . he came down with a very bad case of fibromyalgia . . . sp? . . . read an article in the paper . . . he got to the point he could only see about 5 patients a day, would get up to shower in the a.m. and then have to lay down to rest . . . wife & kids left him and I imagine by now he has lost his share of the multi-doctor practice. I think he use to roll his eyes on those who complained about fibro too.

Well, then that’s a different story...lol Our 100” is just the start. We’ll be lucky if we get under 200”. Usually it’s over 200, more around 250 or so. Ah well, like my hubby says, it keeps the riff raff out...lol
