I think she's a shoo-in for a big record deal and big fame and fortune regardless of what happens on this show.
She is obviously very tender-hearted too...she was bawling like a baby during the "bottom three" segment this past Thursday. I think America likes her as much as it despises Clint Jun Gamboa.
I hope you didn’t take my comment as being snarky. I was trying to be funny. I haven’t watched AI but didn’t want to ignore a ping from an old FRiend.
However...Butler did it, and have one more game to play.
It's weird that some people don't understand that Pia is a star. I guess everyone has a blind spot...I don't get Lee DeWyze at all.
David Foster is salivating for her voice in one of the wings of his house right now. Songwriters are writing for her as we speak. She's going to take all of Celine's material. Wait and see. She's the new international white female balladeer...if she wins.
If enough people don't have an attention span capable of staying awake through a minute fifty performance of breathtaking beauty and emotion, well, maybe not.
One should always underestimate the taste of the American public. After all, Tony Orlando and Dawn were superstars.
Nah...no problemo...
” Lauren has a sparkle in her eye. Pia can sing but she has no sparkle in her eye. Shes like a beauty pageant contestant who thinks shes already won. Pia sings well but acts like a zombie.”
Agree.
My favs are James & Lauren
Pure country - Scotty - but entertainment/singing capability
James & Lauren appear to be more versatile, and able to deliver more memorable performances.
We have different tastes. My dad loves Barbra Steisand. The big crooners usually bore me. I like to be moved emotionally, and Pia does not do it.
I’ve told you how she could attract me more. Talent is not everything. You need to break out, show creativity, etc. Yo yo ma puts so much passion into his playing that I get goosebumps sheen I hear him live. He has that magic. Pia doesn’t have it yet. I believe she could get there.
Yes, lee dewyze was so wholly forgettable, I don’t remember one thing he did last year.
When = sheen. Why would iPad replace anything with “sheen”?? Lol.
Yes! That’s it! That’s the most descriptive description I’ve read to describe the difference between the two!
We had a mind meld. Earlier this week I heard “Last Dance With Mary Jane” and thought, “This would be a great song for Paul.”
Totally agree. Pia is beautiful, very talented, and about as exciting as margarine.
Stephan Colbert, Jimmy Fallon, Taylor Hicks and The Roots sing Rebeca Black's "Friday"
I love it!
Haha! Well played!!
I can’t think of that song, but he’d do great to do Tom petty. Another guy with a completely unique voice. (paulie, please note that petty does not smile through all his songs...)
Shoot I missed out, the link says it contains NBC copyright material was was blocked out.
Scotty is my favorite, even though I'm not a big country music fan, but I predict he'll come in second or third. He is an amazing singer, and very appealing. He may be getting the most votes every week so far. Every time, however, a guy gets voted off, his votes are more likely to go to one of the other men than to Scotty, who is so different from the others. I hope I'm wrong. I even listened to his duet twice last week, something I've never done before.
You’d be surprised how many men like margarine.
Good analogy. Why settle for margarine when you can have butter. In other words, butter is a tasty 'substance' while margarine is rather flavorless 'fluff', if ya know what I mean.
No! Well, it was funny. Trust me. LOL
People said the same thing about Katherine McPhee and she’s doing what now? Staring in “Shark Night 3D.”
