Fox News just had Democrat Congressman Bill Pascrell of N.J. on as a guest. He said:
"This is what she would want"
He said basically that he will not vote for repeal and that Obamacare should not be repealed in honor of Gabby Giffords.
Pascrell said that Republicans should be civil and lower their voices.
I knew this would be the Democratic mantra.
Democrats intend to use the tragic shooting of Gabrielle Giffords just like they used the death of Teddy Kennedy to advance their agenda on government healthcare and to silence critics.
So, she would want the death panel saying her treatment is too expensive or that she has to wait for her turn? She is not on anything like Obamacare now. No one has a plan like the Congresscritters who do not want anything nearly as good for the peons.
Ever since this happened the media and politicians have tried to turn Giffords into a moderate. She voted almost lock step with Pelosi. To be frank, I could care less about Giffords. If it had been a Republican shot the media and left would have demonized them. Notice how they have totally ignored the judge that was actually killed? Pray on for her people so that she can go right back to the Hill and vote for the socialist agenda.
Okay I said it now flame on.
She doesn’t need Obamacare. She’s got the very generous Federal health care program plus all the additional health care perks Congress gets.

Gaby Giffords does not “rule” the U.S. because she was shot.
Dirtbags like Pascrell would use any tragedy to promote the socialist agenda of him and Obama, even where there is no logical connection.
These people are sickening.
Remember, never let a crisis or tragedy go to waste. That is the Dem mantra.
Major medical centers will collapse under Obamacare and instead of being on the operating table 38 minutes after being shot she would be dead.
Are they sure that her family wouldn’t be counseled instead about ‘end if life’ procedures??

Giffords voted for Healthcare but then she was one of 19 other house dems who VOTED AGAINST PELOSI for Speaker. Giffords signaled that she was not for Obamacare any longer.
Giffords’ change of heart about Pelosi/Obamacare is WHY:
1. The Daily Kos targetted Gabrielle Giffords weeks before the shooting.
2. The infamous “Giffords is DEAD TO ME” Daily Kos post was posted.
3. Nancy Pelosi made sure she was in Giffords’ hospital room as soon as it seemed Giffords might wake up.
4. Giffords attitude towards Obamacare is WHY Obama is making such a fuss over this.
5. Dem response to the AZ shooting/Giffords is all about Healthcare. This was WHY Wassermann Schultz was at the ABC Townhall in Tucson, saying “Obamacare repeal will affect mental health coverage”. (Before the Eric Fuller death threat...)
The Democrats are going to try to keep ramming Healthcare at us, and force or manipulate Giffords to comply.
Watch.
And if the GOP Congress folds, they are complicit in the gutting of the Republic.
She voted for Obamacare and knew that she would never be subjected to Obamcare.
It won’t be repealed in honor of Gabby Giffords. it will be repealed in spite of her vote for it.
Most people wise her well and hope she gets well after being treated to the best medicine the world has to offer.
Shame she could not see that the people will be denied that.

She certainly did. While in office she has voted 86 percent of the time with the libs. She may say she’s a blue dog dem, but her voting record says otherwise.
And you’re right about the reaction if a Republican had been shot. If this had happened to a Republican under Reid or Pelosi, they would have called up any pending legislation which might be a close vote and tried to pass it while the Republican was missing.
As for how Giffords feels about Obamacare, she had her vote counted. We don’t need to hear anything else from her on this issue. It really is pathetic how much mileage the Dems are trying to get out of this tragedy.
As a member of Congress she would get the red carpet treatment under Obamacare, but anyone else would have been been allowed to die at the hospital based on the cost of her care and poor prognosis.
