I just unfriended (for the first time ever) two people on my Facebook who were spouting off against the Tea Party, Glenn Beck and Sarah Palin being to blame for yesterday. Not one post about the victims or the shooter. Just that the Tea Party was “non-verbally encouraging violence”.
My Facebook only has actual friends and people I know on it.
I then posted on my wall:
If you are more interesting in blaming the Tea Party, Glenn Beck, or Sarah Palin in yesterday’s tragedy than the fact that the shooter was a whackjob and that people are dead and in the hospital you can remove me as a friend now. I have no interest in being your friend if you are more interesting in blaming peaceful people that weren’t even there over the actual shooter.
So far 4 people in the last 5 minutes have unfriended me.
They are useful idiots.
It’s nice when the trash takes itself out and you don’t have to go to the effort of doing it yourself.
Those that unfriended you may not have been worthy of your friendship in the first place.
