We played a game called Crack with the old wooden tops with metal points. Much more fun. One player had to lay their top down in the play area. Others would have to through their top at it and hit it or while your top was still spinning, you had to pick it up and hit the down players top with it. If you missed your top would go down next.

"Ive noticed that Technic sets have slowly receded from the market. Its a sad thing, what kids these days will miss."My #2 grandson is a WHIZ with stuff like this. His earliest construction was unique and interesing. When asked what he had built, he nonchalantly replied, "It's just a jelly shooter."
