Sorry about the gender change.
Cold and icy here. Low double digits in the day time quickly dropping to the single digits as soon as the sun goes down. We’ve had no new snow since last week, but they keep predicting it. Garden is forgotten for now.
Hey. Good to see you are not frozen yet! I hate the cold and am so glad I don’t have the temps y’all have. We get the chilly down here But not the Big Cold. Well so far not Big Cold.
Actually, Maycomb is a fictional name for the real town of Monroeville, just up the river a bit from Mobile.
You should have a state aborist or forester you can contact for information about what trees do well there- also your local county extension agent, well I guess they are educators now, would have solid information to help you.
It is about 20F and snowing here in the Colorado Rockies. Still getting tomatoes and peppers from the container plants I have growing indoors.
I “seed” you’ve been pinging regularly again, seems like you’d been, uh, well, I don’t want to say irregular, but you get my meaning... ;’) Anyway, during the winter yours is the most important ping list on FR for those of us in the Snow Belt.
This article was just posted on FR. Nevada needs someone who knows what is in the Constitution, rater than just holding a copy of it in his hands. If he can’t read and understand those few pages, how and he understand the almost 2,000 page budget bill?
And in Mississippi of all states...
Hey tube here in Miss we never ask a Lady if she is a her, unless we are down on Bourbon Street in N.O.
Oh Please say it isn’t so Red as my Dear Late Mother has kinfolk in Ol Mississippi including some surviving Cousins...
Watch out for those cousins!
The Rain is about to start so I put the dog to bed a little early...
planning and dreaming is half the fun....
planning and dreaming is half the fun....
Yeah, planning and dreaming a garden is fun but can get out of hand.
Planning can lead to a lot of work and we are planning on expanding one of the flower gardens at the Church this spring so the planning includes involving some unsuspecting members to do the grunt work that my wife and did a few years ago. My career was spent directing others to carry out my goals and making them feel that it was their idea...
My problem with wishing and planning garden is that I am the only grunt around. Cashmere likes to think she is helping but she just gets excited and watches.
At least you didn’t put it this way:
“Sorry for your sex change operation.”
LOL
