Feminists Declare Unibrow Unity in 'Decembrow'

Things are getting hairy in women's facial fashion -- but it's all in the name of charity.
That's because this month has been declared "Decembrow" by the feminist-oriented website Feministing, and women are encouraged to grow out their eyebrows to the point where they connect in the middle.
Much in the same way that men grow mustaches in "Movember" to raise money and awareness for prostate cancer, Decembrow participants are asked to get pledges and donations for their own pet causes while growing brows that would make hirsute Mexican painter Frida Kahlo proud.
For instance, Lori Adelman -- who coined the term "Decembrow" -- is donating the money she raises to the International Women's Health Coalition, an organization that advocates for women's health, sexual and reproductive rights.
Two separate things inspired Adelman to create Decembrow. The first was, of course, Movember.
"Many of my guy friends participated in 'Movember,' which is a great initiative," she told AOL News. "It's a great way to get people involved -- but most women are unable to grow mustaches."
The other inspiration came from, of all places, Tajikistan, after Adelman read an article in the Global Post about how "unibrows" are the latest trend in that country. In fact, some women in Tajikistan whose brows aren't bushy enough are resorting to herbal remedies or eyebrow pencils in order to get up to a socially acceptable level.
(snip) This is a subject that interests Adelman very much, as a great deal of her writing addresses cultural standards that create a less-than-healthy body image for women and girls.
"We all could benefit from being open-minded about looks," she said. "I see [Decembrow] as a lighthearted and playful way of bringing attention to the way cultural ideas of beauty affect all of us."

Feminists will do anything to look non-female. Yep, including binding down their breasts.

Oh, where to gaze next? The unibrow? The yellow teeth? My eyes linger upon those beautiful features, yes but they lovingly SETTLE upon the giant pus-filled zit.
How could you fail to mention the out-of-focus cleavage?
