A British team of archaeologists on expedition in the Peruvian Andes has hailed as "sensational" the discovery of some of the most sacred objects in the Inca civilisation -- three "ancestor stones", which were once believed to form a precious link between the heavens and the underworld... Dr Frank Meddens, research associate of Royal Holloway, who was also on the expedition, said they had "danced a little jig on top of the mountain" after discovering the objects that they had only read about in 16th-century Spanish documents.

Disappointing that the original article didn’t include pictures of the stones.

Are these the “icca” stones that show dinosaurs on some of them? That could be why they didn't put pictures. They want the sensationalism of discovering something, but they don't want anybody looking to closely at what they discovered.

Hey, no one told me she had anything to do with this.
I will sacrifice a nOOB in her honor.
Shouldn’t be to difficult, they seem to be everywhere this week.

Proof of ancient alien astronauts as our ancestors if found at last!
I saw on the History channel today where a ‘Stargate’ entrance has been found in the Andes. According to naitive folk tales a gold disk of some kind was inserted into the solid stone and one of their priests walked through the stone and disappeared.
Wouldn’t it be a hoot if Von Danikin was right? OMIGAWD, the gnashing of PHD archeologists’ teeth will be heard in the Sirium galaxy.
