Yes, the Naga Viper, the latest claimant to the world's-hottest-pepper crown, outdistances its predecessor, the Bhut Jolokia, or "ghost chili," by more than 300,000 points on the famous Scoville scale of tongue-scorching chili hotness.

When it gets into the stomach the acids pretty much neutralizes it ,next day though the seeds cause some havoc..
To enjoy hot peppers remove the seeds before eating..
Holy crap...my wife is watching! Sweet!
Hey “al”, easy there cowboy, alot of us actually love hot peppers!
LOL!
Garden-ping worthy?
I find anything hotter than a Chipotle (roasted jalapeno) to be totally worthless for cooking. What is the point? *SHRUG*
Ping for later.
I’ll bet you a burger it burned every bit as bad on the way back up, as it did on the way back down.
I pity that poor bastard when the remains worked its way through his digestive system, but he’ll never have a hemorrhoid in his life....
Just a useless hot pepper factoid.
Peppers have absolutely zero effect on birds. They can and do eat ANY kind of pepper without any discomfort, and are a major method for spreading the chilis that they eat, (seeds + fertilizer = more plants).
Thank you for pinging people..

That explains why bird poop eats the paint off a car.
Why do the Japanese eat poisonous blowfish?

Well, I have, in my video archive, a tape of an immature White ibis swallowing a catfish, live and with all fins extended!
You can see the three bulges in the neck as the fish makes the last slide down into the interior of the bird.
Hurts to watch.
However, immediately afterward, the bird bounced up and down to help the fish slide all the way “down the hatch” and then took a sip of water to wash down the meal.
Bird mouths are mostly beak and tissue with very different nerves than ours.
Why not just drink a glass of sulfuric acid?
Before eating one of those, be sure to order some chipotle-away:
